Holiday Themed Cake Decorating Location: Day Street Community Center Dates: Saturday, November 14 or 21 Times: 5:30-8:30 pm Fee: $70/class *includes cake supplies Instructor: Sherylynne Rochester, Lynne Belle's Cake & Candy Supplies Description: Feeling thankful this fall? Join us in decorating a Thanksgiving flower themed fondant cake. The cost of the class includes the cake supplies needed. This class is for ages 16 and older, and maximum class participants is 15. Hurry in to register! Stroud Kids Holidays Location: Day Street Community Center Dates: November 27 & 30 December 28, 29, 30, 31 Time: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm DAILY FEE: $25/first child $20/each additional child Description: When school is closed for the holiday break! Bring your children to the Day Street Community Center to participate in our popular Stroud Kids Holidays program. They will enjoy playing games, making crafts, and participating in other fun activities with their peers. Depending on the weather, kids will be indoors and outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather. This program is for ages 6-12. You may register for one day, three days, or all 6 dates! Turbo Kick(TM): Get hooked on Turbo Kick Live! With cardio kickboxing and body-sculpting dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes, you'll get lean and toned - and have a blast doing it! It's high intensity, fast-paced, and totally addicting! First class will start with Turbo Kick 101 to get you used to the moves. Cize(TM): The future of exercise is here. It's time to work your workout with CIZE(TM) LIVE, a revolutionary new dance workout. Unlike most cardio dance classes, this isn't just about shuffling your feet. Created by Shaun T and a team of professional choreographers, CIZE LIVE will have you bustin' out full dance routines to the hottest music tracks. Location: Day Street Community Center Date: Friday, December 4 Time: 6:00-8:00 pm Fees: Children $4 & Adults $6 Description: Come in the Day Street Community Center and see it decorated as a winter wonderland! Join in the holiday cheer by making ornaments, crafts, decorating sugar cookies, and making reindeer food. Shhh parents, a special visitor may be stopping by to see the children! Refreshments will be available. Bring your friends and family to join our staff in celebrating the joys of the holiday season! Holiday Handprint Keepsake Location: Day Street Community Center Dates & Times: Thursday, December 10, 10:30 am -12:00 pm OR Tuesday, December 15, 6:30-8:00 pm Fees: $35 per canvas Description: Come make a piece of holiday artwork that you will enjoy for a lifetime. It only takes one session to finish one of the canvases! The class is for one adult and child. You can pick one out of two of the samples to re-create on a canvas with your special person of choice. The class will be guided from start to finish. The kids will help with the start of the project for their handprints or footprints. Once they get washed up they will then be entertained by festive coloring sheets while the adults finish up the master piece! So come out and make a holiday keepsake for years to come! P.s.
