Sports and Recreation Summer Camp Registration 2018 Dear Parents/Guardians, The Town of Brigus is pleased to be offering a summer recreation program again for this year, and we look forward to seeing your child take part in this opportunity. There will be an $80.00 dollar fee for each child participating in the summer camp. The program will be available for children ages 5-12 and will run from July 3 rd to August 17th 2018. Your child must be 5 years of age, as of June 30th to be eligible for the camp. There will be several field trips throughout the summer, as listed below. Permission slips will be required for these trips please fill out attached permission slip with registration. There will be no program on Monday July 2 nd and July 9 th due to Provincial Holidays. There will also be no program from Wednesday August 8 th - Wednesday August 15 th, due to the running of the annual Brigus Blueberry Festival, Children will return Thursday August 16th. Children should come to camp every day with a change of clothes, towel, a hat, a healthy snack, lunch, PLENTY OF FLUIDS, AND HAVE SUNBLOCK APPLIED AS WELL AS EXTRA IN THEIR BAG. Daily programs are subject to change. Drop Off Location: Brigus Ball Field/Playground Area. Rain Location: Brigus Recreation Centre. (Email will be sent if we need to use rain location.) Children should NOT be dropped off before 9:00am or 1:00pm and they should be picked up NO LATER than 12:00pm or 4:00pm depending on which week it is on the schedule. Dear Parents/ Guardians, Below is a list of outings we will be taking this summer. Please indicate which of the following field trips your child will be attending by checking the appropriate lines. This way we will not have to hand out a separate slip for each trip. Frontline Laser tag requires a separate waiver to sign and is attached to this list. We appreciate any help from parents as chaperones during field trips, but seating priority on the bus and boat trip will be given to the children and the workers. While on outings we ask that children try to just avail of what the town is providing. Not all children are able to bring along money to buy extras and we wouldn t want anyone to feel left out.
