The 15 th Annual Baton Rouge Area Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament is quickly approaching! In the last 13 years, we have raised over $280,000 for local charities in Baton Rouge, and now we are preparing for another successful tournament. We are asking for your support and consideration of sponsoring the 2018 tournament, scheduled for Monday, October 22 at Santa Maria Golf Course in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At Our Lady of the Lake Children s Hospital, your local Children s Miracle Network Hospital, our patients and their families are cared for with dignity, respect and compassion- where advanced pediatric medical treatment is delivered with sincere love, affection and appreciation for children and their special needs. Our Lady of the Lake Children s Hospital is the fastest growing children s hospital in the state, where no child is turned away regardless of the ability to pay. Last year, more than 110,000 pediatric patients were treated at Our Lady of the Lake Children s Hospital. Currently, we have more than 80 specialists from over 20 subspecialties. These specialists serve as a magnet for children with complex conditions. Our Lady of the Lake Children s Hospital is fundraising for a freestanding children s hospital adjacent to I-10 in Baton Rouge between Essen Lane and Bluebonnet Boulevard. This new campus will have 350,000 square feet of pediatric patient care space, double the amount of current surgical space, and an expanded state-of-the-art emergency department. We believe a freestanding children s hospital and a statewide network of pediatric clinical excellence will transform our state, but we can t do it without Louisiana advocates like you standing with us.
