Coaches News Letter MAY-June 2012 PREPARING FOR THE LAST MEET AND END OF THE SEASON.
Hello SSST!!!!! Just want to quick congratulate all AG with great performance on Region B. Next on our list is the Novice and Intermediate Championships in SF. This is our last competition for our Nov/Intermediate so let's work it!!! Good luck to you guys!!! And just want to let you know after this competition season is NOT over!!!! We have great summer ahead of us with choreographing a Summer Show, improving skills, couple of testing (ouch...), skills clinic lead by Sara Lowe. I'm working on the skills chart that will be posted so all parents will see what they need to do to advance to Intermediate or AG. We will talk more about that after Meet. Other thing I'd like to say HUGE Thank you to our Intermediate girls for demonstration at REC Judges Clinic. I'm sure it was very helpful to REC Judges who usually not very experienced in Judging Synchro. And also other Thank you to all girls who helping me with spring clinic. I know we don't have a lot of girls, but still I love to have you demonstrate and explain skills to the clinicians. Also thank you note to our parents who are working very hard to promote Summer Clinic lead by Olympian Sara Lowe. Let's bring a lot of kids to our Summer Clinic!!!!!! Head Coach Olga COACH OLGA

I would like to thank all the parents who supported our girls yesterday. They felt the love and support and I was so proud of them. I realized that now comes the big push...we have not sent two teams to nationals for a very long time. It has been at least 6 years!!! Way to go girls. COACH KATHRYN

AGE GROUP NATIONALS LETS GET PUMPED!!!
Help!!!! Parent Volunteers and help needed. As a parent of a swimmer we ask for you to please help out with many things that will keep the sacramento synchronized swim team stay a float. It is extremely crucial to get young girls into our summer program without these programs and new swimmers we cannot grow as a team which means higher dues and less girls for the team to swim with. The growth of Sac Synchro is very important to the team as a whole. Please if you know any young girls who love to swim and are interested please let them know about the team programs. Also post up flyers at your work and send them to school with your daughter to hand out to friends. We can t grow as a team without new little squirts wanting to join. Also we need some help from the parents to get the ball rolling for the swim show. Please contact Kristen Schoel to see what you can do to help it move along smoothly.
Donations The synchro staff is looking for donations and ideas to acquire a few things to help the summer and next year go better. Got a mini fridge that you would like to donate to the pool for the shed? The coaches need a place to store waters and drinks not only for us but for the girls! Its going to be a hot summer and we need to stay hydrated. Also we really want to purchase an ipad for the team. This will become a great teaching tool for quick video so the girls can see their corrections. Any ideas would be helpful. Talk with Sonia if you think you have a way to get one soon.
