There will be no Heart & Sole on Thursday (9/21) as school is not in session. Students who have signed up for Yearbook Club have been invited to the MC Yearbook Schoology Group. If you turned in a contract, but were not emailed about the Schoology Group, please see Mrs. Busby this week. Attention all Science minded students!! Marsh Creek Water Watchers/Envirothon Club is open to all students at Marsh Creek. Students will meet most Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:25 in room B321 with Mrs. Brook, the Science teacher on Team D. Students can sign up any time throughout the year. Students will begin the year learning about our local streams and watershed. We will learn how to perform tests to determine the quality of the water in our local steams. You ALL will learn about this at your overnight trip to Paradise Farm and in your Science class. When the weather gets bad, we will begin to prepare for the Envirothon, an academic competition about our environment. This event is held at Hibernia Park in early May. If YOU would like to learn more about this club, pick up a permission slip outside of Mrs. Brook s room B321 (Blue House, 3 rd floor) before school or during Advisory. For anyone who has asked about Art Club or who is interested in joining, Mrs. Marsden will be handing out permission slips in B102. There will only be 35 spaces available and membership will be given on a first come first serve basis with returned slips. Please see Mrs. Marsden TODAY if you would like an Art Club permission slip. Attention all students interested in joining the Tennis Club: Permission slips will be available outside of Mr. Taraborrelli s room B322 from now until Friday. This is a first come first served selection process and the club maximum is 24 students. So, get your permission slips signed and in ASAP as the club will begin Thursday, October 5 th.
