Game Cancellations NSC GAME CANCELLATION POLICY: Soccer is played in the rain and will only be called off if there is thunder/lightning or if the fields are flooded. NSC has set a deadline of 4:00 PM to call games off. If storms look like they will end by game time we will not cancel the games, in these cases, the coaches/referees will be responsible for cancelling games at the fields. Coaches will receive an email as well letting them know if games are called off. Keep in mind these items: Is it safe and will it still be fun for the players? If the referee shows up please pay him/her. Please like us on Facebook!! NSC FACEBOOK SITE is the secondary communication tool for possible bad weather or poor field conditions. Page 10

REFEREE FEES ALL PAYMENTS TO REFEREES should be provided in envelopes with exact change! Referees will get a total of $24.00 per game. Each team pays for half of the referee fees so each team pays $12.00 to the referee before each game. We provided all coaches with the referee money at the Meet and Greet. When you cash the check at the bank you will want to get 6 $10.00 bills and 12 $1.00 bills. Put this in an envelope for each week (6 weeks total). Each Referee should receive their individual payment from the team before the game. ABSENT REFEREES - Please contact Mike Jones at mjones@neenahsoccerclub.org if Referee is missing. Provide game time, team, and location. A coach/assistant coach should step in to ref the game. Return unpaid ref fees to NSC at the end of the season. VOLUNTEERS Thank you for volunteering as a coach! NSC is a volunteer-based Club. Currently we do not require volunteer hours for the McDonald s Fall School Soccer Program like we do for the Spring/Summer Recreational Program. This might be something we will need to do in the future. It takes many hands to set a great stage for kids to play soccer. Please involve parents when possible and ask for help when you need it! Page 19

MISCELLANEOUS Page 20 REFEREES Younger mentoring program (See more information on our website Referee Information). Allow the Refs to call the games! If we hear that coaches are yelling at refs, you be asked not to coach anymore. Remember that these are mostly children refereeing. If you have a problem with a ref please email Mike Jones at mjones@neenahsoccerclub.org. Please remember these are young referees on the field and mistakes will be made. NHS Varsity Games Come support the team!! Wear your Neenah Soccer Club jersey and have fun watching soccer!!
