Crop Post-Crop Edition Newsletter JUNE 2017 Bullseye! $10,357 raised at charity crop right on the money Making Wishes Come True organizer Michele Mallen hit the bullseye and then split her own arrow with the next shot when it came to meeting fundraising goals in the June 3 charity crop at the Waterloo Rod & Gun Club in St. Jacob s. She had targeted breaking the $10,000 ceiling in this the sixth year for the annual event, which raises funds for the Children s Wish of Canada, Ontario chapter. With a record 68 scrapbookers on hand, a live auction headlining a slate of new on-site attractions and a spring Learn & Create contributing to the coffers, the inal tally was $10,357. In addition to working on papercrafting projects, attendees took part in raf le prize draws, games, quizzes, a silent auction and massage treatments. BIG WINNERS! Tiffany Bond, at right in top photo, and Debbie Miller, below, won the two Grand Prize ticket draws in the Making Wishes Come True charity crop on Saturday, June 3 in St. Jacob s. Crop matron Michele Mallen drew the winning tickets. Tiffany won an allinclusive papercrafting weekend at the luxurious Memories Manor in St. Clair, Mich.
