Environental Hazards : Not classified as dangerous for the environent. Additional Inforation : Under noral conditions of use or in a foreseeable eergency, this product does not eet the definition of a hazardous cheical when evaluated according to the OSHA Hazard Counication Standard, 29 CFR. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES General Inforation : Not expected to be a health hazard when used under noral conditions. Inhalation : No treatent necessary under noral conditions of use. If syptos persist, obtain edical advice. Skin Contact : Reove containated clothing. Flush exposed area with water and follow by washing with soap if available. When using high pressure equipent, injection of product under the skin can occur. If high pressure injuries occur, the casualty should be sent iediately to a hospital. Do not wait for syptos to develop. If persistent irritation occurs, obtain edical attention. Obtain edical attention even in the absence of apparent wounds. Eye Contact : Flush eye with copious quantities of water. If persistent irritation occurs, obtain edical attention. Ingestion : In general no treatent is necessary unless large quantities are swallowed, however, get edical advice. Advice to Physician : Treat syptoatically. High pressure injection injuries require propt surgical intervention and possibly steroid therapy, to iniise tissue daage and loss of function. Because entry wounds are sall and do not reflect the seriousness of the underlying daage, surgical exploration to deterine the extent of involveent ay be necessary. Local anaesthetics or hot soaks should be avoided because they can contribute to swelling, vasospas and ischaeia. Propt surgical decopression, debrideent and evacuation of foreign aterial should be perfored under general anaesthetics, and wide exploration is essential. 5. HANDLING AND STORAGE General Precautions : Use local exhaust ventilation if there is risk of inhalation of vapours, ists or aerosols. Properly dispose of any containated rags or cleaning aterials in order to prevent fires. Use the inforation in this data sheet as input to a risk assessent of local circustances to help deterine appropriate controls for safe handling, storage and disposal of this aterial. Handling : Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid inhaling vapour and/or ists. When handling product in drus, safety footwear should be worn and proper handling equipent should be used. Storage : Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place. Use properly labelled and closeable containers. If engineering controls do not aintain airborne concentrations to a level which is adequate to protect worker health, select respiratory protection equipent suitable for the specific conditions of use and eeting relevant legislation. Check with respiratory protective equipent suppliers. Where air-filtering respirators are suitable, select an appropriate cobination of ask and filter. Select a filter suitable for cobined particulate/organic gases and vapours [boiling point >65 C (149 F)]. Hand Protection : Where hand contact with the product ay occur the use of gloves approved to relevant standards (e.g. Europe: EN374, US: F739) ade fro the following aterials ay provide suitable cheical protection: PVC, neoprene or nitrile rubber gloves. Suitability and durability of a glove is dependent on usage, e.g. frequency and duration of contact, cheical resistance of glove aterial, glove thickness, dexterity. be replaced. Personal hygiene is a key eleent of effective hand care. Gloves ust only be worn on clean hands. After using gloves, hands should be washed and dried thoroughly.
