It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the second annual Masco Baseball Golf Tournament. The Masconomet High School Baseball program has an extremely rich history. The players and families that have come through the program take pride in the program s successes on and off of the field. The fact that our players move on to become prominent members of the community is extremely gratifying to anyone who has ever been a part of Masco baseball. This tournament was created to help provide the members of the Masco baseball program with the necessary equipment to help them be as successful as possible. It is a goal to allow our student-athletes to grow and progress, all while offering them the necessary tools in order to do so. Providing safety netting and screens, field maintenance equipment, and practice tools, as well as the necessary day to day equipment is paramount to the success of the program. Our fans are also a top priority for the program. We want to provide the most enjoyable experience at the ballpark as possible. From our Little League day, to our Senior Game, to our Alumni Game, we want to make sure that everyone who attends a Masco baseball game is enjoying themselves. With the money raised during last year s golf tournament, along with money raised from a recent raffle, we are happy to report that we will be installing scoreboards at both baseball fields before the end of this baseball season. This will enhance the experience of all of the fans and allow them to stay engaged with the game. We ve asked the Masconomet Golf team to participate in this year s tournament and we hope that you will join us at the Ferncroft for a day that promises to be a great time. Yours in baseball, T.J. Baril and the entire Masco Baseball Program
We are so excited to be partnering with the Masconomet High School Baseball Boosters Program in participating in the second annual Masconomet Baseball Golf Tournament. The Masconomet Golf team has a long and rich history of success and sportsmanship in the Cape Ann League. We have won the CAL more than a dozen times, and led by former Coach Ben Hodges, we won the Division II State Team Championship in 2011. Many of our players have gone on to play college golf at all three division levels. All of our players have been enriched by their experience of wearing the red jersey on the links representing the Chieftains. Our team has been running on a lean budget over the past ten years and would benefit from some support in buying jackets, paying for greens fees for practice rounds, and purchasing golf balls. We hope many of our current and former players, and their friends and families, will consider putting a foursome together and joining us for a fun round of golf that will support the program we all love. Thank you for your continuing support of our team and we look forward to seeing you out at Ferncroft Country Club, our practice course, on August 28 th. Sincerely, Kathleen Natale, Varsity Golf Coach and the entire Masco Golf Program 2016 State Qualifying Team
