CLOSTER PTO DINNER DANCE A NIGHT ON THE TOWN Friday, March 21 st, 2014 SPACE Dear Closter Parents, We cordially invite you to enjoy a Night on the Town. Come join us as we dance, dine and mingle exclusively at SPACE NIGHT CLUB in Englewood. Make your caring count while having a big city, bright lights experience. As parents, teachers and administrators, our PTO at Closter constantly strives to put forth its best efforts because of its love and concern for our children. Children are the reason the PTO exists, the common denominator of everything that our PTO does. Our children need your support and assistance today to make a better tomorrow. Tickets purchased before or on February 14 th will get a $10 discount. After February 14 th, tickets will still be available for purchase at $100 each. JOIN OUR DINNER DANCE TEAM RAFFLE BASKETS Volunteers are needed to solicit donation or coordinate baskets. We target vendors from Closter and the surrounding towns. We also call on families within the Closter community and where possible tap into contacts within the corporate world. Maybe you would like to make a donation or know a contact we would use? DINNER DANCE JOURNAL A professionally printed book containing acknowledgements or all raffle contributors and volunteers, advertisements, and art work. The Dinner Dance journal is a platform for vendors to expand their business as well as show support for Closter Public Schools. Perhaps you would like to purchase a page on behalf of your family. Maybe you or a family member/friend has a business they would like to promote to our community? BASKET BUILDING March 10 TH to March 20 TH Basket building will require volunteers to commit to 2 hour time slots to help create baskets. You will be assigned to various tasks stuffing, wrapping, tag making, certificate making, etc. Maybe you have a flair for creativity? VENUE SET UP Friday, March 21 st 9am-1pm During the day of the event we need help transporting baskets and materials to SPACE. We also need help with setting up the baskets. EVENING CREW Friday, March 21 st, 7pm-12am In addition to the PTO Board and Dinner Dance Committee, we are looking for a group of volunteers who are willing to work * during the evening. In the past, this has typically been parents who were not planning on attending the evening as a guest. Responsibilities on the night include: welcome desk, raffle ticket sales, basket monitoring, basket distribution. In order to supplement the working team, we will also need 5-10 volunteers to rotate on a onehour basis from 7pm to 12am. *Please Note: any parents wishing to work the evening will not be required to purchase a ticket for the evening. You will be offered food and soft drinks. Please contact the Dinner Dance Chairs for more information and/or to volunteer.
