Participants must report and register at the TTSH Charity Ride counter at ferry terminal at 12pm to collect their boarding passes. The ferry terminal requires all passengers to check-in at least 90 mins before departure time. Please ensure that your passport is of at least 6 months validity as of the event date. 1 July 2012 at 11.35am IMPT: Boarding passes will be arranged for all participants. Please affix the stickers on the seat-tube of the bike and front and left of the helmet prior to the event. 2.6 Luggage Please pack light for your luggage. The onus is on you to ensure that your personal property is kept safe and secure. You will be given 2 luggage tags at the Ferry Terminal for your baggage and bike respectively. Please ensure that your name, I.D number and contact numbers are written clearly. 2.7 Protecting your bike To protect your bike during transportation, you are encouraged to secure it with bubble wrap. The Organizers will assist you in ensuring that your bike is secured from damage but the onus lies with the owner. The Organizers will not be held responsible for damages whilst on transit. These notes also apply to the return journey back to Singapore. 6

You are encouraged to alert them should you require any mechanic or medical assistance during the ride. There will be 2 Bike Mechanics travelling with the cyclists and will be able to assist you with minor repairs. However, major parts & services will be charged accordingly. Payment arrangements should be made with Treknology after the event. 11
3.5 Wet Weather Advisory In the event of inclement weather, the Organizers reserve the right to delay, stop or cancel the ride at any point. Cyclists are to use their own discretion by seeking the nearest shelter and resume cycling when the weather permits. The traffic marshals will also advise on safety accordingly. Should the event be cancelled, the donations collected will still be directed towards the TTSH Community Charity Fund. Tax exempt receipts will be issued where applicable. 4. OTHERS 4.1 Safe Cycling Tips You are encouraged to have your bike inspected by a professional bicycle mechanic before the event. Cycling bare torso is not permitted. Helmets are compulsory, and must be worn at all times. Please keep to the left side of the road unless overtaking and observe traffic rules at all times. When overtaking, please proceed by the right of the cyclist. Ensure a safety distance of 7m between yourself and the bike in front of you. Be conscious of fellow riders and always indicate your intention early. Please adhere to the instructions of the marshals. 4.2 Insurance Coverage Accident insurance coverage of up to S$10,000 for death/permanent disablement and S$500 for accidental medical expenses has been arranged for cyclists.
