Sponsorship The world s largest stage for Asian American entertainers
The Kollaboration movement embodies our message that in order to change the status quo, we need to step up and create that change ourselves. We are in the midst of a huge generational culture shift in the AAPI community. We are expressive, creative, and writing our own history. Christine Minji Chang, Global Executive Director

HISTORY Page 4 Founded in 2000 by stand up comedian Paul PK Kim in Koreatown, Los Angeles. PK created a stage for Korean American artists to inspire and promote accurate representations of Asians in mainstream media. Over the course of 14 years, the Kollaboration show spread from LA to New York, Chicago, and many other North American cities. Kollaboration became a pan- Asian American Pacific Islander movement and official nonprofit organization in 2006. Kollaboration is the largest and longest standing platform for Asian American Pacific Islander artists and entertainers. We empower generations of AAPIs to embrace their roots, dream big, and redefine their representation in media. We unify, celebrate and elevate the AAPI voice.
