CORPORATE GOLF DAY Shelly Beach Golf Club, formerly known as Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club, is located on the New South Wales Central Coast. Described as the hidden gem and acclaimed as the best golf course on Central Coast. The course is set amongst the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and features typical seaside terrain guaranteed to challenge any standard of golfer. The front nine winds its way close to the beach with eye-catching views, established trees line most fairways and the course offers lush fairways and true greens. The course provides excellent practice facilities consisting of putting green, bunker and chipping green. Shelly Beach Golf Shop has a comprehensive range of the latest golfing equipment at competitive prices along with expert advice. Open seven days a week with times available daily for social play. Trade, corporate and social groups are most welcome as the clubhouse has excellent facilities for golfers looking for some respite after an afternoon on the course. CORPORATE GOLF DAY Your corporate golf day can be conducted using several golfing formats. We recommend a 4 person ambrose as the best format as it caters to all golfing levels. For more serious golfers you can play an Individual Stableford in conjunction with a team event or if you prefer an alternate format please contact us for clarification. Format Below is a suggested format for your day, if you wish to make any changes please let us know and we can work this into a schedule for you. A morning shotgun start must occur no later than 8am and an afternoon shotgun no later than 1pm. Arrival: Practise Facilities: Tee Off: On course: Registration desk at the front of the Golf Shop. Practice nets, putting and chipping green. Starter to call players to tee. Siren to sound start of play. Novelty events can be coordinated, such as nearest to pins, long drives, straight drives and betting hole. Refreshments cart (if requested minimum of 80 players) After Round: Scoring Dining as per your request Presentation Microphone with lectern, projector & screen, trophy table available. course hire Exclusive use of our course is available upon request; Monday and Friday are our designated corporate days. Course hire is $2500 for private use, this must be arranged at time of booking. A shotgun start is the best way to run the day. The following number of players is required for shotgun starts: 100+ Players 18 Holes 80 to 99 Players 15 Holes 60 to 79 Players 12 Holes 40 to 59 Players 9 Holes Shelly Beach Golf Club will book additional holes as your player numbers increase. Each group is started on 9 holes and then it is up to the organiser to inform Shelly Beach Golf Club of the increase to provide extra holes. If the organiser fails to do so, tee spots may be open to the public. Player numbers must be confirmed 8 days prior to the golf day to allow sufficient time for the course to be reserved.

Terms & conditions DEPOSIT & CONFIRMATION Bookings will be considered as confirmed upon receipt of a $200 deposit. This security deposit ($200.00) will be retained until after the golf day to protect against any loss or damage to Shelly Beach Golf Club s property for which the organiser of the golf day is financially responsible. The security deposit held, less any charge for loss or damage if applicable, will be returned within seven working days after the conclusion of the function. CONDUCT Under the Registered Clubs Act Shelly Beach Golf Club staff have the authority to remove any person who is intoxicated, violent, quarrelsome or disorderly. NUMBERS Player numbers must be confirmed at least two (2) weeks prior to the golf day for catering and course requirements. TRANSFERRING DAYS If you wish to transfer your golf day within 6 months of the booking date you will incur an administration charge. Transferring dates is also subject to availability. PAYMENT Full payment (if applicable) is required 7 days prior to your golf day. Payment of drink account (on consumption) is required on the day. COURSE HIRE Exclusive use of our course is available; Monday and Friday are our designated corporate days. Please talk to our golf professional prior to booking. SIGNAGE PLACEMENT Signage to be placed on course for your event must be supplied to the Shelly Beach Golf Club at least 3 days prior to your event. Shelly Beach Golf Club will erect the signage on the day. A list of hole sponsors which have sponsored particular holes must also be supplied with signage. Banners must be collected at close of the golf day.
NOVELTY EVENTS Novelty events such as nearest to pins, long drives, straight drives and betting hole must be coordinated with our golf professional prior to your golf day, trophies for all events must be organised by the organiser. FOOD & DRINK No food or drink is to be brought onto the premises. ADVERTISING All advertising material for the Golf Day must be approved by Shelly Beach Golf Club prior to distribution. If Shelly Beach Golf Clubs logo or name is to be printed on advertisers material the images used must be accepted by the club prior to dissemination. DRESS CODE Casual golf attire is recommended. Shelly Beach Golf Club does not allow singlets, dirty work wear, football jerseys or football shorts. MENU SELECTION Please choose two (2) mains and two (2) desserts (if applicable) from our menu which will be served alternatively. Please discuss any specific dietary requirements with our function co-ordinator. GUESTS AND SIGNING IN Due to licensing requirements within the club industry it is the law for all visitors to our club to sign the Club Sign In Register situated in the foyer of the clubhouse, the golf shop or drinks cart. If guests live within a five (5) kilometre radius of the club, they must be signed in by a Shelly Beach Golf Club member who is holding or attending the function. RESPONSIBILITY Shelly Beach Golf Club does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any items associated with our venue. LAWS All liquor laws apply to functions including intoxication & proof of age. Alcoholic beverages must NOT be consumed by persons under 18 years of age on the premises at any time.
