Movement was slow to moderate. Demand is good for all alfalfa offerings as supplies and offerings are becoming scarce. Demand from dairies was light. Prices were fully steady in limited trading. Temperatures have moderated from last week's artic cold but dry and windy conditions have brought wildfire danger back to most of western and central Oklahoma. Grass hay demand is good for high quality offerings, especially for wheat and Bermuda hay. Grass hay movement was active in central and western counties, moderate in eastern Oklahoma.. Alfalfa Central Oklahoma: Few loads Supreme quality moving locally 150.00. Premium quality large square bales 130.00-140.00. Good quality large square bales mostly 110.00-120.00. Fair to Good quality round bales and few large square bales 100.00-120.00. Small square bales Premium Quality 12.00-14.00 per bale.. Receipts this week consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 42 percent heifers. Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent slide on yearlings from base weights.
