Norwell Track and Field Welcome o This year s staff o Practice times first three weeks, second three weeks before spring break. o Cell phone # s o Shoes TRRC o Parent Meeting will be before first indoor meet. o Website NWCS Site Practice format o Warm-up: 400m jog, core work together (no more large-group stretching). o Stretching/active warm-up: in event groups with a coach A full warm-up w/o stretching takes 35-45 minutes for speed and power events o Workouts/technique Pay attention to details. Stretching AFTER your workout is one of the best ways to avoid injury o Distance runners will be doing technique drills and speed drills after their running workouts o Toys o Weights M-W-F Everyone will LIFT!
