44 GREEN DETAIL 10yds 21yds 1 One of the hardest opening holes you will play anywhere. Less than 400 yards but plays much longer. Out of bounds all along the right hand side, it needs two good shots to reach a very small green. A par here is always a good start. 92 229 268 148 158 229 205 170 HOLE 1 384 5 3 380 4 3 390 4 3 390 4 3
GREEN DETAIL 25yds 2 It is best to play the right side of the green. If you miss there s always a chance of a good bounce onto the green. 229 132 10yds To front of green HOLE 2 132 3 17 142 3 15 148 3 15 148 3 15

202 236 GREEN DETAIL 23yds 34yds 44 4 A short par 4, but well protected. A bunker on the right hand side is well placed and very punishing if you get in it. A good drive leaves just a chip shot to a green cut into a slope, with the back bank very useful to keep the ball on the narrow green. 167 75 94 From Silver Birch HOLE 4 242 4 7 250 4 13 254 4 13 254 4 13
220 6th Tee 48 62 GREEN DETAIL 23yds 34yds 7yds 5 After the drive, you are faced with a testing climb uphill which over the years has seemed to have become steeper and steeper. Pause at the top to look back at the view of the valley below. A good drive leaves a short shot to a well protected sloping green. 69 107 128 150 HOLE 5 228 4 13 295 4 9 299 4 9 299 4 9
36 59 45 GREEN DETAIL 29yds 6 A genuine three shot par 5. It requires two good shots to reach the flat part of the fairway. It usually plays longer than its yardage on the card. from Silver Birch 102 yds 123 187 45 to Mounds 103 to Mounds 147 to Bunkers 167 198 from back of Blue Tee 35 HOLE 6 382 5 5 488 5 5 500 5 5 535 5 5
27yds 15th Green GREEN DETAIL 27yds 7 Without a doubt this is the hardest short hole on the course. An uphill tee shot to a difficult green to hit the highest part of the course, makes a par here very acceptable. 16th Tee 151 to front Next Tee 18yds 6th Gr ee n HOLE 7 162 3 9 167 3 7 169 3 7 169 3 7
42 52 58 36 73 81 GREEN DETAIL 23yds 25yds 8 A long Par4. A blind drive and a second shot to a narrow tree lined fairway, makes this one of the hardest holes on the corse. It is always very pleasing to hit the green with two shots. 133 144 to front 243 170yds from marker post to banks 156 HOLE 8 454 5 1 454 4 1 459 4 1 459 4 1

GREEN DETAIL 27yds 10 This is an attractive hole with out of bounds woodlands all along the left hand side. A good drive leaves a short shot to a small two tier green. 12yds 56 43 202 112 41 12th Green HOLE 10 262 4 12 291 4 14 305 4 14 325 4 14
GREEN DETAIL 28yds 22yds 137 to front 11 From the tee you can enjoy the picturesque views of the Aberdare Valley and Brecon Beacons beyond. The two tier green can make two putts for a par a challenge. HOLE 11 10 135 3 18 150 3 16 166 3 16 166 3 16
GREEN DETAIL 18yds 35yds 27 83 100 12 A par 4 with many natural hazzards from tee to green. Accuracy from the tee is required to reach the flat part of the narrow fairway, to give you a chance of reaching the sloping green with your second shot. A very good hole to par. 146 261 195 210 HOLE 12 417 4 6 417 4 2 423 4 2 423 4 2
GREEN DETAIL 12yds 14yds 18yds 42 13 With the planting of many new tees along the right hand side, this is now a very narrow driving hole. Then you are faced with a tricky chip shot down to the green. Local knowledge here is useful. 80 102 140 255 233 176 197 HOLE 13 10 334 4 2 338 4 10 346 4 10 346 4 10
15 GREEN DETAIL 20 yds 137 180 From back of Blue Tee 19yds 14 This is an attractive, slightly uphill hole with large established trees at the back and right hand side of the green. A par 3 calling for a careful tee shot if the bunkers left and right front edge are to be avoided. 37 91 HOLE 14 134 3 14 141 4 8 148 4 8 190 4 8
46 from Ridge GREEN DETAIL 33yds 30yds 15 With snad bunkers on the right hand side and trees on the left it makes this driving hole. The green is the largest on the course, but without an accurate long drive, is blind on the second shot. 69 89 102 245 205 125 144 159 177 196 122 24 HOLE 15 299 4 8 347 4 4 353 4 4 378 4 4
GREEN DETAIL 21yds 24yds 44 46 16 Short Par 4, with the fairway difficult to stay on. It is quite easy to run into trees on the left hand side. 57 76 86 107 178 119 7th Green HOLE 16 274 4 10 287 4 18 297 4 18 297 4 18
177 GREEN DETAIL 18yds 17 A downhill short hole. It takes a good accurate iron shot to find the well bunkered green. 19 24yds 158 166 169 180 HOLE 17 148 3 16 162 3 6 188 3 6 188 3 6
GREEN DETAIL 28yds 18yds 63 83 109 Tall Tree This is surely the most intimidating 18 drive on the course. The Par 5 hole has ruined many a medal round. With no fairway to look at, a good challenging drive down the left hand side gives you a chance to go for the green in two, but with out of bounds close to the green it s a dangerous finishing hole. 168 147 229 295 Driving Distance to Bush on Mound 195 To Fairway 217 249 162 to bridge HOLE 18 433 4 4 510 5 12 516 5 12 527 5 12
