Total Body Length: Assume the same stance as Height. Measure from the ground to the lowest point of your sternal notch. Inseam: Remaining in the Height stance, hold a book with a 1-1/2"" (3.5cm) binding so the binding is pressed hard against your crotch like a saddle and the bottom of the book is against the wall. Measure from the ground to the top edge of the binding. Take this measurement three times. Please tell us what inseam measuring tool you used, i.e. 1-1/2" Binder, etc. Arm: Hold your arm outstretched to your side, horizontal to the ground. Grip a pencil in your fist, perpendicular to your arm. Measure from the pencil to your rib cage, just under your arm. Lower Leg: In stocking or bare feet, in the seated position, measure both the left and right lower legs from the top of your kneecap to the floor. There may be discrepancies between left and right. Forearm: Grip a pencil in your fist perpendicular to your arm. Bend your elbow to a 90-degree bend. Measure from the backside of the elbow to the pencil. Shoulder Width: Measure the distance from the outside of one shoulder to the outside of the other. Foot: List cycling shoe size. 5 Order Process Please note: due to the nature of custom frame building, lead times may vary. You and Your Retailer You visit your retailer. You complete the Custom Kit order form with the help of your retailer. Retailer transmits order to Seven. You review specs with your retailer. Your retailer sets up your current bike or a shop bike to Seven's positional dimension recommendations for you to ride. If there is any more fine tuning to be done, this is the time to do it. You and your retailer confirm Seven's recommendation by signing and returning the confirmation form. Seven conducts the Client Interview. The exact day depends on your availability. In about a week, Seven finalizes the frame design and sends specs to your retailer. Seven puts your frame into production. Machining, welding, finishing, and painting. Time in production is typically 2-5 weeks depending on frame model, time of year, and whether the frame will be painted. Seven will call your retailer when your frame is finished.
