Team GETTING TO THE VENUE You'll find the circuit 10 miles north-east of Thetford on the A11 from London to Norwich. Snetterton Circuit, Norwich, Norfolk, NR16 2JU CAR PARKING The Car Park is free. Please follow the entry road and then turn into parking areas after the bridge. There is lots of car parking available in the assigned fields on site, marshals will be on hand to direct you. instructions. Please arrive with plenty of time to spare and we will get you parked as soon as possible. There is a small walk to registration, this is approximately 600m. DISABLED PARKING There will be parking near to registration for disabled badge holders. GARAGES PARKING There will be parking available near to the garages for those that have booked a garage and have a car pass. REGISTRATION ON THE DAY + CHIP TIMING You will have received confirmation of your entry by email, once you have completed the online form and paid the necessary fee, on validation your name will appear on the Race Entry List on the online registration form. Once an entry has been received and confirmed, no refunds will be possible. You can transfer your place to another runner using your active account before December 31st. If you have elected to collect your timing tag and race bib on the day, these can be collected at the Registration area, which is clearly marked on the map. Please get into the appropriate queue. Queues are organised by race number. Your race number can be found on your latest confirmation email. Please bring this with you. Please wear your chip as instructed, flat on the shoe and tied on with the cable ties supplied. No Chip, No Time. We will collect the tags at the finish line. If you have chosen to receive your timing tag and bib number in the post, these should be with you before the Tuesday prior to race day. 11:10:am Race starts 12:30am Prize presentation To get to the 10k start please follow the track to the side of the medical centre. Please see the map attached or it can be viewed at our website. Warming up is not allowed on the track. There is plenty of good flat tarmac in other open spaces around the venue. CHARITY is supporting the following: The Big C charity http://www.big-c.co.uk/ Norfolk s Cancer Charity. The Motor Neurone Association and Kenninghall pre-school, who are in need of a new classroom to replace their very old current one.. CHANGING & WHAT TO WEAR We strongly advise that you arrive at the event in your running kit as there are limited changing facilities, you ll need to bring warm dry clothing to change into after the race. There are some showers available at the event. We advise you to wear appropriate running attire. RACE NUMBERS Race numbers must be worn on the front of the vest/shirt. The numbers must not be bent or mutilated. Runner information must be completed on the reverse of the bib number. T-SHIRT PICK UP If you have ordered a T-shirt, these can be collected at the registration area. We may have a small number available to purchase after the event, however we cannot guarantee this. SAFETY We take necessary and practical steps to ensure your safety on our courses. There are a number of medically trained personnel around the course including the professional medical staff. If you feel unwell or notice anyone struggling at any time during the event, please speak to a marshal. MEDICAL SUPPORT Professional medical staff will be present at the Finish area and at various points around the track. The medical centre is near Tyrells restaurant. WATER There will be a water station for the 10k only. This will be at the end of the Start/Finish straight. Water will be provided at the finish. RESULTS We use a timing tag that must be securely fastened to your shoe with the cable ties provided, this is required to sit flat on the laces. not guarantee a time. If you do not have laces speak to the timers, they will be happy to offer alternatives. Results will be posted on www.chiptiminguk.co.uk on Sunday 14 th January, shortly after the race. Live kiosks will be available on race day in the garages near the finishline. PRIZES Prizes are available for the following age groups. Top 3 female and male plus 1 st age in category for female and male 40-49, 50-59 and 60+ 1 st Male and female team affiliated, 3 to score RULES The race will follow UKA rules Our rules can be found at our website. TOILETS There will be toilet facilities available for runners and spectators. Please respect the venue and its land. Use the toilets and put all rubbish in the bins provided or take it home. We also have toilets on the course, these are located at the bombhole grandstand. Approximately a mile after the start. REFRESHMENTS The Tyrells restaurant will be open to provide food and refreshments on the day. We will also have the bar open. STORAGE OF VALUABLES There will be a manned bag drop at registration where you can leave a small bag or your car keys. We will ask for a 1.00 deposit for this service. This money will go to the Kenninghall Pre-school charity, who are in need of a new building if they are to continue. RACE PHOTGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY Photos and video will be taken during the event. We reserve the right to use all images for marketing purposes. Spectators are very welcome and we have many great spectator areas, including a play area for the kids. Please be aware that DOG ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE VENUE, the exception is guide dogs.
