Dear Norfolk Country Club Members, With Spring right around the corner, we are looking forward to continuing the momentum that we generated in 2017. You will find several new activities on the schedule and additional opportunities to utilize the club for your social needs. Later this month we will be publicizing the Norfolk Country Club Event Packet with descriptions and signups for the 2018 season. Our staff continues to work ahead in the calendar and make sure we are developing the communication process for events for the year. I know we have covered it before but please make sure you are receiving the email communications as well as receiving your statements by email. I am very excited to announce a New Membership Management Software! I discovered that this had been a challenging matter for everyone and with the addition of the Pro Shop we need an all-encompassing software. Below is a quick overview We will be installing EZLinks the last week in March. Online tee times will be available through a link on our website which will help us better track our rounds and serve as a great communication tool for club events. Your statements, and actual tickets will be available for your review. EZLinks encompasses the entire operation allowing us to better manage our reporting to our members as well as our financial reporting. Online payment portal will be available for credit card processing, as well as the ability to pay from your bank. We will be hosting membership training for the new software as well as having links on our website of online demos. (More details to come.) Please help me welcome new members R.J. Goll & family and Klinton & Tammy Arnold to the facility! Over the next week please be on the lookout for Thursday s New Member mixers. We will utilize these to help new members get acquainted with our members and the events that we have available for them. : If you have someone in mind for membership, please send me an email with their contact information (Name, Email, and Phone) so that I can open the lines of communication. Dear Norfolk Country Club Members I am very excited to be writing to you as this is my first Newsletter as your Head Golf Professional. Nicole and myself are grateful to be able to move closer to our families while still being able to do what we love. Norfolk Country Club has a rich tradition in its golf professionals and I hope I can live up to those high standards. I look forward to meeting all of you when the weather warms up and we get a chance to get back on the golf course. The golf shop has undergone a facelift over the last couple of weeks with some new paint and carpet being installed along with a new set up in the golf shop design. My goal in the shop is to create a one stop shop for the membership for not just golf attire but for gift items and presents throughout the year. My merchandising philosophy is to provide the best in golf attire and equipment at price points that meets everyone s needs. This will include bringing in new companies and vendors that will fill a variety of styles. NCC will be doing fitting days for clubs this year with multiple vendors coming to the club to showcase their new lines and provide personal fittings for your specific needs. We will also have demo clubs in the golf shop from companies such as Callaway, Titleist, and Taylormade that you can take out to the range and on the course to try. The club also has a new launch monitor allowing the golf staff to do fittings throughout the year. Please look for those dates in the next couple of weeks. The golf shop will be having an open house on March 21 st from 5pm-7pm before the annual meeting. Please stop by the golf shop and check out the changes and enjoy a beverage with myself and my wife Nicole. I look forward to meeting everyone and I am thankful to be a part of Norfolk Country Club.
