Key Activities Fundraising Raffle Tickets Raffle Tickets Each child on your team must sell a book of raffle tickets at $1 per ticket Prizes will be drawn on Opening Day; do not need to be present to win Prizes include 42 HD TV, iphone, $1500 in landscaping, GPS, $1000 Southwest Airlines gift card You will pick up the books for your team tonight and distribute to your team to start selling immediately Your team s money is due back by the next team mom meeting on February 21 Checks or cash (bills only, no change) All money must be turned in or the entire team does not get their uniforms

Key Activities Fundraising Grand Slam Gala Grand Slam Gala Annual (parents-only!) event Saturday, May 3, Sweetwater Last year raised more than $40,000 Live and silent auction Each team is responsible for a basket; it is recommended you assign basket items to your parents Information in your team mom folder Completed baskets are due during next team mom meeting February 21, 2007 Tickets go on sale Opening Day To volunteer, please sign up in the back of the room and attend the first meeting on Wednesday, February 13 at Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Sienna Grille

Key Activities Fundraising Yard Signs, Decals and T-shirts Yard Signs $15 each Decals $10 personalized with players name, $8 without MCLL T-shirts Will be available to purchase on Opening Day All can be ordered online at www.eteamz.com/missouricityll

Key Activities Uniforms, Medical Release and Background Check Forms Uniforms Will include jersey, belt, socks, hat and official Little League of America patch Patch must be sewed on by first game, goes on left sleeve 1 above hem Will be passed out at next team mom meeting You must turn in all of your team s raffle ticket money to receive any uniforms Poll your teams for missing pants or pants that do not fit and send Susanna an email with the size(s) needed Medical release forms Must be on file at all times Download from TMT website All due to your coach before start of play Background check forms You and all of your coaches MUST turn in a completed background check form; if you don t have it today please turn it in at the next TM meeting You must fill out a new form this year even if you were approved last year

Key Activities Opening Day Opening Day, Saturday, March 1 Main ceremony Need to arrive at your designated area by 8:45 in full uniform (designated area assigned February 21) Introduction of each team and board members; players will deliver national anthem and Little League pledge BBQ lunch Each player receives three* tickets; additional tickets may be purchased online for $6 (pick up at February 21 team mom meeting) Cookie booth each team needs to bring two dozen cookies or brownies Fun games and activities Each team responsible for a booth See your team mom folder for your team s assignment Tickets on sale online ahead of time for 50c each (pick up at February 21 team mom meeting) Cake walk each team needs to bring five cakes Water balloon booth each team needs to bring 300 filled water balloons

Key Activities Picture Day and Concession Stand Picture Day, Sunday, March 30 Group and individual photos Schedule will be distributed on February 21 Concession Stand/Snack Shack The main concession stand is the one between fields 1-4; the Snack Shack is in back by the t-ball field Each team required to work shifts Your responsibility is to assign workers and ensure they arrive Please send Susanna the names and cell numbers of the workers you have assigned no later than February 21 (email is OK) Information posted in stand to tell you how to sell and how much $10 punch cards available again this year; purchase online at www.eteamz.com/missouricityll and pick up at February 21 team mom meeting

Wrapup Key Dates and Deadlines February 5-10 Distribute raffle ticket books to all players, two to players on scholarship. Pass out parent information packet with opening day information and deadlines. Submit any pants changes needs to Susanna via email. February 8 Coaches need to turn in sponsor forms and checks to Helen Bow February 21 Team Mom Meeting, location TBD T-Ball and rookie: 7:00 7:15; A, AA, AAA: 7:15 7:30; Minors, Majors: 7:30 7:45; Juniors, Seniors: 7:45 8:00 February 21 Team Mom Meeting Turn in raffle ticket money ($50 per player) with checks payable to MCLL; bills only, no change. Sponsorship players will turn in $100. February 21 Team Mom Meeting Turn in team gala basket with itemized list of components February 21 Team Mom Meeting All merchandise orders submitted online February 21 Team Mom Meeting Turn in completed photo forms and checks payable to Nesossi Photography. Don t forget to add tax! February 21 Team Mom Meeting Turn in your team s background check forms February 21 Have your parents complete and turn in to your coach all medical release forms February 22 Distribute uniforms to your team March 1 Opening day activities bring cakes, cookies and water balloons, arrive at 8:45 for introduction on field, man your booth and have fun!
