www.standrewsgolfcamp.com marcgentles@standrewsgolfcamp.com St Andrews Links Academy The Academy boasts some of the finest state of the art teaching facilities as well as a great short game area and driving range. While in St Andrews Steve North and his team of PGA professional will be working on teaching our juniors the key aspects to mastering the Links game. There will be no swing reconstructions or technical pointers unless this is something the individual would like. We will be working on teaching the juniors how best to play the links game. This will include trajectory control, shot shaping and spin control. Around the greens will include bump and run chip shots, pot bunker play and long putting. All these things will help prepare the juniors for the challenges that lie ahead of them when playing Links golf
Hickory Golf Playing golf at Kingarroch is a truly amazing experience. This is a short 9- hole course just outside St Andrews where hickory clubs from the early 20th century must be used. It s about playing golf as it used to be played on a natural golf course layout with hickory sticks really put your swing to the test. What will add to the experience is the welcome received by all our guests from the charismatic owner David Anderson. Dressed in his plus fours and wearing his tartan waistcoat David will be sure to give our juniors a stern lesson on the history and progression of the game as well as several friendly pointers in how best to go about playing with Hickory club
