CHECK LIST : Y N Divisions Jousting Registration for all events is available at www.aplaisance.com Behourdium Skill at Arms Registration IJL only IJL is recommended and will be encouraged to those who are not members. Registration fee Jousting Behourdium Skill at arms $125 for competitors participating in the joust, melee and skill at arms. Behourdium Skill at arms $50 for competitors participating in the Melee a Cheval and/or la Chasse. Gender separation Jousting Behourdium Skill at arms Entry test Competition is open to all qualified competitors (details included in attachment). Riders who are unknown may be evaluated by the King of Arms/Lady of Honour during the event to determine their ability to compete. Stables Box Open air stalls are available with priority given to the joust competitors. Owners will need to provide horse bedding, food, equipment, etc. There is plenty of room for your own panels. UPON Entry Test 2 1. What will the entry test consist of? Entry is open to any rider who has competed in at least one competitive jousting tournament. However, any rider may be asked to complete a riding evaluation at the discretion of the King of Arms/Lady of Honour at any time during the event. 2. When and where will it take place? Entry tests will be given at the discretion of the King of Arms/Lady of Honour at any time during the event. 3. Invitational tournament: No - Is selection process objective? Yes. - What are parameters? Selection will be determined by the competitor applying to compete. There are a limited number of competitor slots and the final roster will be determined by the order in which the completed waiver packets are returned. The final roster will be published on the event website (www.texasjoust.com). - Is selection process subjective? No, however if any competitor, their horse or their gear is not up to the rigors of this competition, they will not be allowed to compete.
