We will be having a Rimfire Rifle Benchrest CHALLENGE match starting at 10am. Classes are: Hunter Iron Sights (25 shots-50yds);hunter Scoped (25 shots-50yds); Open Iron Sights (25 shots-50 yrds); Open Scoped (25 shots-50 yrds). Then you will shoot a "KNOW YOUR LIMITS" targets at 100 yards (5 rounds for score unlimited sighters, 10 minute to sight & shoot for score) scores will be added together - high score wins. Centerfire CHALLENGE match, will start about 1pm with classes: 6mm & Down Scoped Rifle (25 shots-100yds) Above 6mm up to.308 Scoped Rifle (25 shots-100yds). Then you will shoot a "KNOW YOUR LIMITS" targets at 100 yards (5 rounds for score unlimited sighters,10 minute to sight & shoot for score ) scores will be added together high score wins. SERVICE RIFLE AND BULLSEYE PISTOL MATCHES Match Director: Art Douville This is a reminder that on Saturday, August 31, I will be conducting a High-Power Rifle clinic, Acrossthe-Course match (XTC) and Bullseye pistol match. High-Power Rifle Clinic The clinic begins at 0930 and covers equipment, using a sling, shooting positions, sight alignment, sight picture and the four XTC stages. We will also ensure rifles are sighted in for the 100 yard match. You will need about 40 rounds for practice. XTC Match The XTC match will begin at 1130. You can use any as-issued US or foreign military service rifle with iron sights. Civilian copies, such as the M1A, Mini 14 or AR15, are permitted. We will shoot 4 record stages for a total of 50 rounds. Competitors that cannot get into the traditional sitting or prone firing position will be allowed to shoot from a modified position. The match is a modified version of the CMP National Trophy Individual Rifle Match. You may also use a rifle sling, single shot adapter, shooting jacket, shooting glove, ground pad, and spotting scope. Bullseye Pistol Match The Bullseye Pistol Match will begin at 1400. It is a 90 shot match and is shot one handed at 25 yards. You may use any rimfire or center-fire handgun with iron sights. The handgun must hold a minimum of 5 rounds for the timed and rapid-fire stages. The following table outlines the Bullseye Pistol Course of Fire:
