Baja ORV Area (Interior, SD) (605-279-2125] This remote area offers about 480 acres that is open to all OHVs. The terrain mainly consists of flat, open prairie land with a few 4x4 trails and little vegetation. There is no fee to ride or camp but there are no services available so come prepared. Central South Dakota Racing Association (Pierre, SD) [605-220-4111] Located on the outskirts of Pierre, this track is generally open for practice Monday through Friday in the evenings from 5pm to dusk and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to dusk. Grammas MX Park (Viborg, SD) [605-359-6863] This brand new track is now open for practice. Terrain consists of sand and loamy soil. Future plans are to add restroom and shower facilities. Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club (Sturgis, SD) [605-347-6022] Located in Sturgis, the Jackpine Gypsies motorcycle club is one of the oldest AMA clubs around and offers its members a flat track, motocross track and challenging hillclimbs that are situated on 40 acres. Oahe Downstream OHV Area (Fort Pierre, SD) [605-223-7722] This area offers 400 acres of hilly grassland terrain that is open to dirtbikes, ATVs and UTVs. While there are no designated trails the property boundaries are marked off. The park also has a motocross track that is maintained by the Central States Racing Association. Railroad Buttes (Farmingdale, SD) (605-745-4107] This large open area offers miles of trails, play areas with plenty of hill climbs, makeshift motocross tracks and beautiful views of the surrounding hills and grasslands. Revheim Bay OHV Area (Mobridge, SD) [605-845-7112] This new OHV park opened to the general public in June 2007 and offers a one-mile long trail that resembles a motocross track. . Scramblers Cycle Park (Yankton, SD) [605-665-3500] This is an often groomed and watered track available to the public for practice seven days a week. Talsmas Trail Park (Avon, SD) [605-369-2401] Open during weekends and by appointment during weekdays (weather permitting), this park is located on a Hereford cattle ranch and offers miles of multiple use trails that wind through beautiful grasslands and offers scenic views of the Missouri River. No Plains 5 Weekends 9am-dusk Motorcycles Prohibited Prohibited Camping is permitted for those who purchase two-day rides and can currently be done in the parking area, but a designated campground is in the works.
