INSTRUCTIONS Team Events 1. Team Event 2 to 4 players. There will be 6 Groups in all with 3 teams in each Groups A, B, C, D, E and F. The Teams in each Group will play against each other on League basis (Stage I). Two tops team in each group will qualify for PQF knock-out (Stage II). However, the teams secured I place in Groups A, B, C & D will directly qualify for QFs in the Main Draw of 16. Remaining 12 teams will play PQF. The pre-designated Pre-Quarter Finals knock-out will be : I Half (1) A-1 Vs Bye (2) F-2 Vs B-2 (3) E-1 Vs C-2 (4) Bye Vs D-1 II Half (5) C-1 Vs Bye (6) D-2 Vs F-1 (7) A-2 Vs E-2 (8) Bye Vs B-1 2. The Prizes will be awarded to the Winners and Runners-up only 3. All matches will be decided by best of 5 games under 11-point System. 4. There will be 5 matches ie., 2 Singles,1 Doubles & 2 Singles. The team winning 3 out of 5 matches will be declared winner. 5. The Team s Captain should report to the Referee 10 minutes before the commencement of their matches. 6. All matches will comes from 08.30 AM onwards and conclude by 2.00 PM on 11-02-2017 (Saturday) Individual Events 1. Events viz., Men s / Women s Singles / Men s Singles 35+ / Open Doubles will be conducted. 2. All Matches will be on knock out basis 3. Prizes will be awarded to the Winners and Runners-up only in all the Events. 4. All matches will be decided by best of 5 games under 11-point System. 5. All the participants should report to the Referee 10 minutes before the commencement of their matches
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. On question of fact, the decision of the Umpire will be final 2. On question of interpretation of Laws or Regulations, the decision of Chief Referee will be final 3. Player is entitled to an interval of up to 1 minute between successive games of individual match 4. Any player or pair may claim one time-out of up to 1 minute during an individual match 5. Player is entitled to brief intervals for toweling after every 6 points from the start of each game and at the change of ends in the last possible game of an individual match. 6. Players may receive advice at any time except during rallies provided play is not thereby delayed. If any authorised person gives advice illegally the umpire shall hold up a yellow card to warn him or her that any further such offence will result in his or her dismissal from the playing area. Refreshments / Lunch: Morning & Evening Coffee/Tea with biscuits and Lunch will be provided to the participants on match days. NB: Schedule is always subject to change, depending upon the entries in Team / Individual Events. THE DECISION OF THE REFEREE ON ALL MATTERS WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING
