ATDIKBUD CUP 2014 MANCHESTER RULES AND REGULATIONS
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS The University of Manchester, Trinity Sports Centre, Atdikbud Cup committee and the Indonesian Students Society in the United Kingdom (PPIUK) will not be responsible for any losses of valuables, injuries incurred or breakage of equipment during any events. Participants are advised to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of their belongings. All players are allowed to take part in the Atdikbud Cup 2014 as long as they are of Indonesian descent. For each sport, each particular player is only allowed to represent one Indonesian society (PPI branch). However a team with a mix of people from two or three Indonesian societies representing one Indonesian society is allowed if stated during registration (eg. Lancaster and Leeds, Reading and Southampton, etc.). Each Indonesian society are allowed to send more than one team/player for an event but the extra team will go straight to waiting list in case there is spaces that cannot be fulfilled by other PPI branches. A person can only participate in one sport to avoid clashes and disqualification. Participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations of the respected venues. The games officials have the right to dismiss individuals or participating teams in an event where the rules have been breached or as seen inappropriate by the regulations. Unruly behaviours or any conspicuous assault at our games officials would not be tolerated. All disputes will be decided by the committee, and the committee will have the final say. Please make sure any issues regarding the validity of players or other issues concerning any events are made before the start of the event. Any individuals or teams who do not fulfill all aspects of the rules of their respective events will be disqualified. All teams must register to the committee by filling the attendance form before the first game of the tournament.
The committee will notify the team to prepare for the game, 10 minutes before their games start. Please notify any problems to the officials in charge of the particular event. Unless a valid reason is brought forward or any given circumstances are justified. The walkover rule will apply to the late teams. It is the responsibility of each participant to bring their necessary equipment to compete in their respective events. Once the registration fees are paid, no refund will be given to the teams disqualified or dismissed. The Atdikbud Cup Committee has the right to alter any rules to ensure the event ends according to the schedule. All teams/players are advised to prepare 2 jerseys with different colours (eg. dark colour and lighter colour) to avoid confusions between teammates and opponents.
3- ON- 3 BASKETBALL Tournament Format: The games would be played on half a basketball court with one basket. Each team consists of 6 players maximum (3 players on the court and 3 substitutes). Group stage will be played for 7 minutes x2 gross time. Knockout rounds will be played for 10 minutes x2 gross time. Between each half there will be 5 minutes break. The tournament consists of two stages: Group stage and knockout stage. The top two teams of each group will advance to the knockout stage. Sudden death of 5 minutes will be played if the score is tied within the regulation time, until there is a winner. Rules: Standard basketball rules applied, except listed below: Two point for each basket inside the three-point line and three points for each basket outside the line. The ball must be cleared off the three-point line for each possession. Violation will be penalized by giving the ball to the opposition. There is a Team foul system, after the 5 th team foul, any subsequent foul will be penalized with free throw. There is Fouled Out after the player picked up his 5 th foul. No tip ball. Before the game starts, one person from each team shoots a free throw once until one team makes the shot and the other misses it. No three seconds violations. No 24 seconds violations. Anyone that commit flagrant foul / showing un-sportsmanship behavior / initiate fight will be ejected and asked to leave the venue.

Teams who are not ready to play up to 10 minutes after their schedule will be considered to forfeit the game (2 points will be given to the opponent team). Each participating team must have 2 jersey or tops; one in dark color, one in light color to avoid any color match and confusion during a match. Each team must appoint one referee from their players. A neutral referee will lead all games.
5- A- SIDE FOOTBALL Tournament Format: One game will be played on 5 v 5 (4 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper). Number of players is limited to 10 for each team. Time: 8 minutes for each half, 2 minutes break in between. The tournament consists of two stages: Group stage and knockout stage. The top two teams of each group will advance to the knockout stage. During the group stage, 3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 point for a defeat. The goal differences rule will be applied if more than one team has the same points. During the knockout stage, if after normal time the two teams tie, the match will continue with penalty shootout. If a member of a team has a serious or disabling injury, a replacement of that particular player is permitted. The replacement must be reported to the officials beforehand. The player must be from the same PPI branch. Rules: No out and throw in. Time will not be stopped for goals, fouls, penalties or any occasions during the game. Back pass rule is applied. Players in the team have to wear a uniform or similar jersey with their teammates, except the goalkeeper. Substitutions are not limited but the captain or manager has to notify the referee and committee prior to the substitution. A player booked with yellow card in 2 matches will be suspended for 1 match. A player booked with a red card will be suspended for 1 match. Goalkeepers are not allowed to leave penalty area, likewise, outfield players are not allowed to step inside penalty area. Otherwise, penalty kick will be awarded to the opposing team.
Defending walls should be 2 metres from the spot where the kick is taken. Other than rules mentioned above, FIFA rules is applied. BADMINTON Tournament Format: 4 categories: Men single, Men double, Women double and Mixed double All players must bring their own equipments, except shuttlecock All categories will be played in group format and the best two players/pairs will advance to the knockout rounds In the preliminary rounds, games will be played in 1 set (21 points). In the knockout rounds games will be played in the best of 3 sets (21 points each) In the preliminary rounds, points system will be used (win = 2 points, lose = 0 point). If there are two players/pairs with the same points, the qualified player/team will be decided using head-to-head. All teams are required to provide an umpire, linesmen and score taker.
