Under the Major Division, there are two formats, the Major/60 and Major/70 divisions. In both formats, games consist of six innings, have a 10-run mercy limit, allow unlimited stealing and both the drop third strike and infield fly rules are in effect. Senior Leagues Boys & Girls, League Age 13-17 $125.00 Founded in 1951, Babe Ruth Baseball League was created for ballplayers who wish to continue their baseball playing experience beyond the age of 12. Under this senior division there are two formats, the 13/14 Division and the 15/16/17 Division. In both formats, games consist of 7 innings, have a 10- run mercy limit, allow leading, unlimited stealing and both the drop third strike and infield fly rules are in effect. Our league participates within North Central Mass Babe Ruth/District 5. 13/14 Division This division is where many players get their baseball cleats muddy for the first time on a standard 90' diamond under the Official Baseball Rules used by Major League Baseball. From late April and during May there are two games per week on Saturday & Sunday. During June & thru Mid-July there are up to three games per week excluding Sundays. Practices will be held two to three days per week starting in April and continuing thru the end of the season. There are two to three games per week and they can be held on any day of the week, starting just after the completion of the high school baseball season in early June and running thru the middle of July. There may be up to two practices per week starting in April and continuing thru the end of the season.
