Late entries accepted until the classes start on Friday June 1. Jackpot split: 1 st : 40%; 2 nd : 30%; 3 rd : 20%; 4 th : 10% paid to horse owner. The same horse is ridden by a professional (open) in one test and by an amateur (adult, junior, or young rider) in another test. The tests may be ridden any day. The entry must specify which tests should be counted towards this class. A second entry form for the other rider is required, but the Office fee, USEF fee, and stall fee do not need to be paid as long as both riders on the same horse are participating in the Pro-Am Challenge Jackpot. Only 1 Jackpot entry fee per Pro-Am team needs to be paid. The class will be placed by adding together the percentage received on the two tests. The highest total wins. 100% of the entry fees go into the Jackpot. Special prize in addition to the jack pot for the winning team. 4

For specific rules, please refer to the current version of the USEF Rule Book. US Equestrian MEMBERSHIP: This is a US Equestrian Dressage Competition and the rider, owner, and trainer must all be US Equestrian members or pay a non-member fee (US Equestrian Show Pass $45).Please include copies of the US Equestrian cards with your entry, they can be printed out from the US Equestrian website. USDF MEMBERSHIP: Owners and riders MUST provide a copy of their current USDF membership cards (Participating or Group) with their entry forms. If the owner or rider is not a USDF member, they must pay the USDF non-member fee of $35 per person. HORSE IDENTIFICATION: The HORSE must have either a Horse Identification Number (HID) issued by the USDF or a Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR) issued by USDF. Please include a copy of the HID or LHR certificate. See USDF membership page for further membership details. If the horse also has a USEF/US Equestrian Life, Annual, or Horse Identification Number, please include a copy of this card with your entry. 5

AMATEUR CERTIFICATION: Riders in Adult Amateur division must be at least 21 years old and hold a current US Equestrian Amateur card. A copy of this card must be included with the entry form. OPPORTUNITY CLASSES: Competitors in the Opportunity classes are exempt from both the US Equestrian and USDF membership requirements. You do not have to pay either the US Equestrian or USDF non-member fees. The horse does not have to have a USDF issued HID (Horse Identification Number) or LHR (Life Horse Registration). GREAT AMERICAN/USDF QUALIFYING CLASSES: There is a $15 Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Championship qualifier fee in addition to the entry fee for the test that the competitor wishes to have recorded as qualifying. Please see the 2018 Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Championship page for qualifying details. FREESTYLE CLASSES: The sound check for the Freestyle classes will be held on Friday June 1 in the afternoon, please check the office for the exact time. The Fairgrounds has installed a new sound system in the indoor arena. You will need to bring your own device to play your music on that can be plugged into the system. It accommodates many different types of connections. During your Freestyle, please have an assistant in the booth to ensure that your music is played to your specifications. ENTRIES: Make all checks payable to: Horse Show Management, LLC. Entries must be submitted on the official entry form for this show. Photocopied entry forms (both sides) are acceptable. Each horse and rider combination requires a separate entry form. The complete name and address of the registered owner must appear in the owner space. If a farm name is used as the owner, the farm must have an USEF farm certificate and be listed as the owner on the horse s USDF HID or LHR certificate. A copy of the Farm/Ranch membership certificate MUST accompany the entry and the Farm USEF certificate number must be used as the owner USEF number. Owner (or agent), trainer, and the rider must sign the entry form (adult signatures only) in the spaces provided and provide addresses, and telephone numbers. Don t forget to fill in the Emergency Contact information. If the owner is the trainer, owner must sign in BOTH the owner and trainer spaces. A trainer is any adult who has the responsibility for the care, training, custody, or performance of a horse. Junior exhibitor s name, address and birth date along with the parent s or guardian s signature MUST appear in the Minor Permission area on the entry form for all juniors exhibiting in the show. Total entry fees, horse/groom/tack stalls and all other applicable fees must accompany each entry by check or money order. Post-dated checks will not be accepted. Entries received without payment will not be processed until payment is received and will be subject to post entry fees if payment is postmarked after the close of entries. *** GR845.1 requires that all horses brought onto the grounds must also have documentation of the Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhino) vaccinations within six months prior to the show. All horses brought onto the grounds must have a completed entry form and be issued a number, even if they are not competing. See Non-Competing Horses below for full specifications. Mail the following to enter: a completed entry forms (all information + all signatures); a check made out to Horse Show Management LLC.; a legible copy of USDF Life Horse Registration (LHR) or Horse ID certificate (HID); a legible copy of the USDF membership cards for the owner and rider; a legible copy of the USEF membership cards for the owner, rider, and trainer; a legible copy of the Equine Vaccine documentation required by USEF GR845.1 6

Calle Loma Linda Tucson, AZ 85704-3637 Phone: 520-797-6921; e-mail: appeals1@aol.com CANCELLATION OR SUBSTITUTION OF ENTRIES: To encourage early entries the management agrees to refund all fees except the office fee on any horse not fit to show provided that written notice and a veterinary certificate are given to the show secretary by May 25, 2018 (7 days before the show). Cancellation of entries after this date, for any reason, forfeits all fees except those which are paid to the USEF and USDF only if the horse competes. After the show has commenced no exhibitor may withdraw horse from the show or remove them from the show grounds without the permission of the Show Management. POST ENTRIES: Entries for the Road Runner I show must be received ON OR BEFORE the Closing Date of May 21, 2018 to avoid the Post Entry Fee of $30.00 per horse. Post entries will only be accepted if there is time available to schedule the ride. PERMANENT JACKET WAIVER: Since this show is held in a climate with high average heat in the summer, jackets will be waived for the duration of the competition. DR 120.8. Don t forget, your shirt must have sleeves. NON-COMPETING HORSES: Non-competing horses are allowed on the show grounds under the following conditions: 1) a signed entry form acting as a liability release; 2) payment of either a stall or haul-in fee; and 3) payment of the $27 Office Fee. DRUGS & MEDICATIONS FEE: Current USEF Rules regarding drugs and medications will be enforced. All horses entered in this competition must pay a Federation fee of $23.00. This is composed of $15 for drugs & medication research + $8 federation fee. REFUSAL OF ENTRIES: Show Management reserves the right to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries of any exhibitor in accordance with USEF rules. RETURNED CHECKS: All returned checks will be assessed a $65.00 charge. The exhibitor will have 10 days from notice of the returned check to pay the debt before Show Management reports the debt to the US Equestrian and local authorities. FEED & BEDDING: Feed and bedding is available on the show grounds at competitive prices. Shavings may be pre-ordered on the Entry Form at $11.00 per bag and they will be delivered to your stall prior to your arrival. Shavings may be ordered at the show at $12.00 per bag delivered to your stall. NO STRAW IS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. Bedding must be purchased from the Fairgrounds STABLING: Regular horse stalls & tack/grooming stalls are $45 per day or any part of a day, or $85 for the weekend of the show. Stalls will be available after 7:00 AM on Friday June 1, 2018 and must be vacated by midnight on Sunday June 3. Early arrival on Thursday is an additional day at $45 and needs to be on the entry form so the Fairgrounds can be notified. The stalls are in the indoor arena building with the swamp coolers and are the new vinyl and pipe 10 x 10 temporary stalls with a door. Show management reserves the right to assign stalls in a manner to facilitate the smooth operation of the show. Please list special requests on the entry form, Show management will try to accommodate them, but there is no guarantee. 7

JUMBO STALLS: If you have a jumbo-sized horse that needs a double stall, please note this on the entry so I can notify the Fairgrounds staff to set this up for your horse. This counts as 2 stalls ($170) and that price includes 2 bags of shavings. SHARPS CONTAINERS: Trainers, owners, exhibitors, or agents, you are on notice that improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments will result in fines of $100 per occurrence. There are red sharps containers for proper disposal in the stabling area. AWARDS: Ribbons -- First through sixth place. DRESSAGE CLASSES: The dressage classes will not necessarily run in the order listed, but will run in the session they are listed under. To accommodate the late closing date, the time schedule will be prepared and the competitors will be notified of their ride times via e-mail on Wednesday May 30, 2018. A time schedule will also be available in the Secretary s office on Friday, June 1, 2018 ARENAS: Indoor Arena (Show): indoors; 117 x 250, footing is sand mix over natural base. Ramada arena (warm-up): open air covered arena; 116 x 200 ; footing is sand mix over natural base. Lounging is not allowed in either the show or warm-up arena. The lounging location is an arena on the north side of the barn with a sand mix over a natural base footing. JUDGES: If for any reason the judge fails to attend this show or to perform his/her duties, Show Management reserves the right to substitute a judge for the one who is officially designated in the Prize List. LOCATION OF CLASSES: Show Management reserves the right to change the location of the classes if necessary and to modify the schedule if entries warrant. BIKES AND MOTORIZED VEHICLES: Minors must wear safety helmets when riding bicycles per AZ State Law. Bikes and/or small motorized vehicles are NOT allowed in the paddock areas in front of the show arenas. If bikes or motorized vehicles are used improperly at the Pima County Fairgrounds, they will be confiscated until the end of the show for the protection of exhibitors and their horses. Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of a licensed competition. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s) or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardians(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. DOGS: Pima County and the Southwest Fair Commission require dogs to be on a leash at all times. Loose dogs may be detained by Fairgrounds personnel and owners charged a fine. Owners are also expected to clean-up after dogs; supplies are provided throughout the Fairgrounds. PARKING: Parking for trailers and other vehicles is in designated areas only. Please respect the no parking signs. Show management reserves the right to move a vehicle that is in violation of the no parking zones. 8

At Brekke Road, turn right (west). Follow the road until you see the Pima County Fairgrounds on the left, turn left into the entrance. Follow the road to the covered arena. The show office is located inside the Indoor Arena on the south side of the building. FEDERATION ENTRY AGREEMENT: By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank and the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter, or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, Representative, employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of the United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the Federation ) and the local rules of the competition. I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors, and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable casts, broadcasts, internet, film, new media, or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage, or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See GR908.4 US EQUESTRIAN MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions, and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR222) and academy classes (academy classes are limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF Introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions; 8) Opportunity classes; 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of 9

current membership in good standing of their own National Federation; USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse breeding classes. INDEMNITY AND NON-RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE: All entries are accepted with the understanding that Horse Show Management LLC, Southwestern Fair Commission, Pima County, all employees, agents, and volunteers will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to any horse or property at the show. Further that anyone signing the entry form assumes all risk for any injury to themselves, other persons, horses, or damage to any property and agrees to indemnify Horse Show Management LLC, Southwestern Fair Commission, Pima County, all personnel, employees, and volunteers against all loss, damages, and liability, including, but not limited to, all legal costs and attorney fees. EQUINE VACCINATION RULE *** New since 2016 and required in 2018 GR845.1 now requires that horses entering the grounds at a Federation licensed competition MUST be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the competition grounds upon request by Competition Management. Documentation should consist of either: A) Documentation (invoice) from the veterinarian showing the horse received the vaccinations including the name of the vaccines and the date of vaccine administration. See USEF GR845.2; or B) If a person other than a veterinarian administers the vaccines, documentation for this rule consists of: a copy of the receipt of the vaccine purchase that is signed by the owner, or agent with care, custody, and control of the horse; the name, serial number, and expiration date of the vaccine; and the date of vaccine administration. See USEF GR845.3. CAMPERS: The RV park is closed in the summer, but there are a few spaces south of the indoor arena that have power. The camper fee is $25 per day. USDF Membership Benefits: USDF is dedicated to education, the recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage. For details on member benefits, including educational programs, awards, and other opportunities, refer to the USDF Member Guide or the USDF website at www.usdf.org. This competition is recognized by USDF for 2018 Membership Requirements for USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized Competitions: Owners and riders, including foreign riders and owners who are not residents of the US, wishing to participate in a USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competition as a rider or owner/lessee, must have either a USDF Group Membership (GM), Participating Membership (PM), or have a USDF Non-Member (NM) identification number and pay the USDF Non-Member (NM) fee. (Note: USDF Business Members can own horses but cannot compete as riders with their USDF Business Membership.) Individuals cannot compete at a USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competition with a USDF Education Membership. Horses competing at USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competitions must have either a USDF Horse Identification (HID) number or a USDF Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR). Proper credentials or verification certificates must be presented to the competition secretary. Riders and owners wishing to participate in a USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competition, and not able to present the competition secretary with verification of a USDF membership or NM identification, and USDF LHR or USDF HID, must complete a USDF Competition Affidavit Form and pay the $5 affidavit filing fee. A copy of a completed affidavit form from another competition may also be used for verification purposes for up to 60 days. (Exception: Affidavits cannot be used at Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championships.) Exceptions: Horses competing only in Individual Breed Classes (IBCs) at DSHB competitions, sires and dams of horses in DSHB group classes, where those sires or dams are not actually competing in the same competition, horses competing only in breed restricted dressage or DSHB classes at Regular Competitions (e.g. all Arabian, all Friesian, or all Morgan classes), or in USDF Introductory Level tests, pas de deux or quadrille, are exempt from this requirement. Also exempt are horses ridden in leadline, exhibitions, games and races, classes for 4-H members, walk-trot, academy, and opportunity classes. Riders and owners/lessees competing only in classes which are exempt from the USDF HID requirements are also exempt from the USDF NM identification number and NM fee requirements. Also exempt are handlers of horses competing in DSHB In-Hand or Group classes. Memberships Defined Participating Membership (PM): A membership issued to an individual directly by USDF. The membership year is December 1 through November 30. PMs are available for 1-year ($90), 5-years ($360), or life ($1,800). A USDF Youth Participating Membership (YPM) is available for individuals who have not reached their 21 st birthday by December 1 of the current membership year ($72). A PM allows the member to compete at USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competitions and to participate as a rider and/or owner/lessee for all Adequan /USDF Year-End Awards, USDF Breeders Championship Series Finals and the Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championship program. Group Membership (GM): A membership issued to an individual by USDF when the member name and dues are submitted to USDF through an affiliate Group Member Organization (GMO). The GM year begins December 1 and ends November 30. A GM allows the member to compete at USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competitions and participate in the USDF Rider Awards program. Business Membership (BM): A membership that runs December 1 through November 30 and is issued to a business or organization directly by USDF. The USDF BM ($240) offers a wider variety of advertising benefits. BMs satisfy requirements of horse ownership only. Education Membership (EM): A membership issued to an individual directly by USDF. This online education only membership expires 12 months after the date joined. This membership type does NOT allow an individual to compete at a USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competition. Non-Member (NM) Identification Number: For each USDF NM owner/lessee and USDF NM rider there will be a USDF NM fee of $35 per competition that must be collected by the show secretary and submitted to USDF, along with the USDF Report of Fees document and the $5 affidavit fee and Competition Affidavit Form if the person cannot provide a copy of their USDF NM card. Owners/lessees or riders exempt from the NM number requirements are also exempt from paying the USDF NM fee. If there are multiple owners of a horse and all are NMs, only one of the owners must pay the NM fee. If the horse has at least one owner who is a current USDF PM, GM, or BM there is no NM fee assessed. Competition management will be invoiced for all applicable USDF NM fees not received with the USDF postcompetition paperwork, along with a report listing all USDF NMs. Competition management is then required to submit the NM fees within 30 days to the USDF. An individual with a USDF NM identification number is not eligible for any USDF membership benefits. Once a USDF NM number has been assigned, a USDF NM card can be obtained from the USDF website. Horse Identification (HID) Number: A one-time tracking number for horses ($35). Scores earned by a horse with an HID number will be recorded, but will NOT be counted towards Adequan /USDF Year-End Awards. A horse with an HID number is not eligible to compete in Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional qualifying or championship classes or USDF Breeders Championship Series Finals. An HID number can be upgraded to a Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR) for a fee of $80. If a horse has a USDF LHR it does not need an HID number. An HID number is a one-time fee that does not need to be renewed. Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR): A horse with an LHR ($115) is eligible for Adequan /USDF Year-End Awards, and eligible to compete at USDF Breeders Championship Series Finals and Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional qualifying and championship classes, assuming requirements for the owner and rider are met. If a horse has an LHR it does not need an HID number. An LHR does not need to be renewed. 2018 Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Dressage Championships A single Regional Dressage Championship program organized by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF), and recognized by the United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (USEF), will be held in each of the nine USDF regions. In addition, Alaska and Hawaii may each hold state championships if an official request from a Group Member Organization (GMO) is received by April 1 of the prior year. The Regional Championship Program Rules can be found on the USDF website at www.usdf.org. Please refer to the 2018 USDF Member Guide for the comprehensive list of rules and requirements for this program. Membership/Registration Requirements for Qualifying and Championships All memberships and registrations/recordings must be correct and current at the time qualifying scores are earned and at the time of the championships. Rider: Must have a USDF Participating* Membership (PM). Must have a USEF membership (Junior Active, Senior Active, or Life). Horse: Must have a USDF Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR). Must have a USEF (Annual or Lifetime) Horse recording. USDF horse registration and USEF horse recording must be in the name(s) of the current owner(s) or lessee(s) of record. A horse is not required to have breed registry papers. Owner: Must have a USDF Participating or Business Membership and a USEF membership (Junior Active, Senior Active, Life, or Recorded Farm (with Active Farm Owner)). If the horse has more than one owner, at least one owner must have both active USEF membership and active USDF Participating or Business Membership. For a business or farm to be the valid owner under this requirement, it must be listed as an owner of the horse with both USEF and USDF. * PMs are USDF members who join USDF directly. USDF Group Members (GM) are ineligible. Minimum Qualifying Scores: One set of nationally-standardized qualifying scores has been established for all USEF/USDF Regional Championships, for Training Level through Grand Prix, in three divisions: open, adult amateur and junior/young rider.
