TRAINING DAY EVENT CHECKLIST Pre-event Promotion and Planning Promote PLAY! EVENTBRITE OVERVIEW Sign-ups and payment for NCGA PLAY! will be administered through Eventbrite, an online third-party registration and ticketing platform. There is no charge to the NCGA or facilities for this service; a small ticketing fee is charged to the ticket purchaser (~2%). NCGA will be the main admin of events for the facilities. All events will be listed on the PLAY! web page: www.ncga.org/play. Participants can sign up and pay online or you can add them into the system when they choose to sign-up in your pro shop or via phone. We ask that you convey to your staff how to register players through Eventbrite as explained in the following instructions. This will ensure you have all participants captured in Eventbrite as this is what we will be using for accounting and reimbursements, as well as maintaining a database for future marketing and research. 22
NCGA PLAY 2017 Eventbrite Registration and Payment Management NCGA will set up 2 Eventbrite events for each participating course 1. Single Event with Multiple dates - users purchase individual dates in the series 2. 6-week Series users purchase the entire series Facilities contact will be made a sub-user to mange the account and registrations All purchases will be pay in advance no longer have the pay at the pro shop option Players who call or visit the pro shop to register should be registered through the Eventbrite dashboard; payment is made directly to the facility. Walk-up players on the day of the event can be registered through Eventbrite if convenient for the facility, or added to Eventbrite afterwards. Events are open to NCGA Members; participants will be required to enter their GHIN number when registering online. Non-members may play in the first event of the series without joining by entering PROMOGHIN in the NCGA/GHIN Number field at checkout. A valid GHIN number will be required when purchasing subsequent single events and the 6-week series. 23

This will bring you to a page that lists the two options for your events: A. NCGA PLAY 2017 Registering Players through Eventbrite For the Single Events with multiple dates, click on the Date & Time link for the event you want to manage. Then click on Add Attendees under the Manage Attendees header. 25
NCGA PLAY 2017 Registering Players through Eventbrite (continued) Enter the quantity, select the payment type, and enter any notes or comments about the order. Hit Continue to complete the registration. Attendees can be added after the completion of the event if necessary, for those participants who are walkups the day of the event. 26
