PRESENTATION DINNER: date to be confirmed @ the Morwell Club, 136 Helen Street, Morwell. 2. JURISDICTION The abovementioned meetings have been authorised by Motorcycling Victoria (MV) and will be held in accordance with the General Competition Rules (GCR s) of Motorcycling Australia (MA), the by-laws of MV, these Supplementary Regulations and any final instructions issued by the stewards of the meeting. BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS. 3. ENTRIES Entry is invited from riders who hold an M. A. Senior or Junior Competition Licence. One day licences (OEL) may be purchased on the day for Seniors, after following correct entry schedule at each venue at a cost of $90. Only Juniors who have completed a Kick Start course and have proof of are able to purchase a OEL. All riders must be a current financial member of a Gippsland Regional Club. Nippers Demo class (non competitive) may ride on a recreational licence - cost $30.00 ENTRY FEES: SENIORS $95 JUNIORS $85 Junior Demo $55 50cc Div 2 $75 Second bike entry over the course of the weekend, add extra $40.00 to the above fee. A $100.00 DISCOUNT APPLIES TO SERIES ENTRY PAID IN FULL and $30 discount for Demo class. NB: $10.00 from each entry goes towards Flag Marshalls, Medical $30.00 and $12 goes towards compulsory MV levy ( $6.00 compulsory MV levy for Demo class only.)

MEDICAL SERVICES and CORNER MARSHALLS Colbrow Medical will be in attendance for the entirety of the event. 5. SIGN IN Sign in for the abovementioned event will take place from 6.30 AM TO 7.45 AM SHARP (Round 1 and Round 2 will have sign in on the Friday and Saturday nights respectively please see Final Instructions FOR CONFIRMATION on website www.gippymx.com.au ) 6. RIDERS BRIEFING Attendance at the Riders Briefing is compulsory to all junior & senior riders, parents and Guardians. The Riders Briefing will take place at 8.00am Fines will apply for non-compliance and will be donated to charity of the Stewards choice. 7. TEMPORARY GUARDIAN Riders under the age of 18, if not accompanied by parents, must have a guardianship form filled out prior to the event and presented at sign in. The guardian must be over 18 years and show proof of ID. The official applicable Guardian form can be found on www.gippymx.com.au 8. MINIMUM ENTRIES 6 Entries to constitute a class Grades may be combined with higher or lower grade if insufficient entries are received to constitute a class. The club reserves the right to cancel / combine classes at its discretion. 9. GRID POSITIONS First round will be peg draw for the first race. Gate selection as per order of previous race. Junior & Senior Heats will be determined by Ballot selection. 10. PIT BOARDS Senior Riders representatives using the designated pit board area must sign an indemnity at sign in to receive a wristband for entry area. No wrist band no entry. Sign in for pit board will be available strictly after riders briefing only. into Pit Board 11. MACHINE EXAMINATION All machines must comply with the 2018 GCR s A AIROH HELMET logo sticker is to be placed and shown on the front bike plate for duration of event by scrutineers Scrutineering will commence at 6.45am PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST PRESENT TO SIGN IN FIRST TO THE RACE SECRETARY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO SCRUTINEERING. You will not be able to have your bike scrutineered until you have received your relevant pass from Sign In. 12. AWARDS JUNIOR RIDERS: Trophies will be awarded to Saturday Junior place getters at the next round. Demo class to receive particiaption momento. Overall Championship Trophies will be awarded at the end of the Championship at presentation night to be advised. NOTE: Six entries to constitute a class. Classes may be combined and we reserve the right to award trophies for combined events. SENIOR RIDERS: Overall Championship Trophies and Prize Money will be awarded to place getters at the end of the Championship at presentation night.. If there is less than 6 riders per class on average over the 7 rounds, trophies will only be awarded. The SENIOR RIDER PRIZE MONEY SCHEME in each class will be determined by the support received for each class. Prize money will be awarded on a percentage basis per class at the end of year presentation. "ALL RECIPIENTS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE PRESENTATION NIGHT TO COLLECT THEIR TROPHIES AND OR PRIZE MONEY OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR TO PICK UP AT THE FIRST ROUND You must compete in 3 of the 7 rounds to constitute trophy and or prize money 13. CODE OF CONDUCT All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCR s) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this meeting and will be enforced.

15. PHOTOGRAPHERS - are to be Professionals, meet the Media criteria and be accredited by the GIPPSLAND PANEL. A Working with Childrens card must be presented when sigining in with the Race Secretary. Rule 11.7.0.7 - The same machine may be used across multiple classes, if eligible to compete.

TRANSPONDERS ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL CLASSES EXCEPT Junior Demo Class TRANSPONDERS CAN BE HIRED FOR $25.00 THRU GIPPSLAND REGIONS Transponders are compulsory for scoring, no transponder NO RIDE TIME PENALTIES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR RIDER BREACHES AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CLERK OF COURSE Competitors with their own Personal AMB MX transponder may use their own. Riders using their own Personal transponder MUST supply the transponder ID number on the entry form. Riders are responsible in ensuring their own Personal transponders adequately charged for the duration of the event. Each machine must be fitted with a transponder at the start of each race. NO TRANSPONDER NO POINTS It is your responsibility to ensure transponders are collected and returned. Mounting brackets MUST be securely fitted to each machine. Brackets can be purchased $10. Brackets must be mounted securely with cable ties (rider to supply cable ties). Conditions of use: a) When a transponder is transferred to the competitor, it is the responsibility of the competitor to pay for any repairs or replacement cost of the transmitter if damaged or lost. This includes while in transit with Australia Post and by courier. No excuse will be entertained for non-delivery. It is recommended transponders be hand delivered. b) It is the competitor s responsibility to ensure the transponder is mounted correctly and securely to prevent damage from fouling other components on the machine. The competitor must provide his or her own Cable ties. c) It is the competitor s responsibility, to return transponders in good condition at the end of the event, or if due to machine failure or injury, before the machine leaves the pit area. d) All transponders must be collected and returned to the designated person/s. e) Transponders must be fitted for all practice sessions. f) The onus is on the guardian/rider to ensure transponders are on machines prior to the event. TRANSPONDER FINES Transponders MUST be returned to the designated person IMMEDIATELY after the last race. Transponders not returned immediately WILL INCUR a $20 per day fine until the transponder is returned, Transponders not returned within 5 days of the event will result in an invoice for the full replacement cost of $433.00, with the rider s competition license suspended until paid. There will be NO exceptions, please ensure your transponder is returned. Parents/Guardians of injured riders leaving the venue should advise the Race Secretary as soon as possible. GENERAL 1. Noise: Noise emissions must comply with rules In the 2018 Manual of Motorcycle Sport 2. Numbers & Numberplates: Must comply with the 2018 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 3. Change of Motorcycle: A change of motorcycle may be permitted up to 15 minutes before the start of the race provided that the notice is in writing and handed to the secretary of the meeting and approval obtained by the stewards. 4. Back Numbers: All competitors must wear a corresponding and legible back number at all times when practicing or competing. NO BACK NUMBERS NO POINTS 5. Points Score: As per 2018 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. 6. Riding of Motorcycles: The riding of any competing motorcycles in the pits or car park or camping area is not permitted. Infringing riders will be brought before the stewards of the meeting. Any offender may be fined $50.00, which must be paid before any further participation is permitted. No pit bikes or non - competing motorcycles are permitted to be ridden at any time at the venue. 7. No Hassle Policy: Any rider, entrant or person associated with a rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner in any dealings whatsoever, with any official of the meeting. A rider shall be responsible for his/her own conduct and that of any person with whom he/she is associated who abuses or threatens in any manner, either verbally or physically, any official. Penalties, which may be imposed by the stewards for breach, include reprimand or warning. Minimum $50.00 fine or exclusion from the meeting. 8. Abandonment: In the event of the meeting being abandoned due to circumstances beyond the control of the promoters before racing commences, entry fees will be returned, less a fee per entry to cover administration costs. Once the competition has commenced only the stewards of the meeting have the authority to abandon the meeting and their decision shall be final. In such cases the stewards will rule on the results according to the circumstances. 9. Bicycles: Bicycles are not permitted in the pits or on the racing circuit. No Pit Bikes will be allowed anywhere at this complex. 10. Animals: Are not permitted into the grounds. Seeing Eye dogs are permitted. 11. Motorcycles: Are to be kept in the pit area at all times when not being used for competition. Unless permission to remove the motorcycle has been granted by the stewards of the meeting. Any motorcycle removed from the pit area without permission of the stewards, will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition. 12. Reservations: The Stewards of the meeting reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel all or part of the events program. 13. Unauthorised: Persons are prohibited from entering the track infield area. Such unauthorised persons will be removed from prohibited areas. 14. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL RIDERS/ENTRANTS/PARENTS/GUARDIANS: CAPITAL BENEFITS INSURANCE IS APPLICABLE TO ALL RIDERS WITH A CURRENT LICENCE. It is conditional upon acceptance of this entry that it is fully understood by the rider/entrant/parent/guardian to arrange personal injury and ambulance transportation insurance cover in case you should require the same during the running of this competition. RIDERS INSURANCE: The Motorcycling Australia Insurance Scheme provides: As per 2018 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION I UNDERSTAND IT IS A REQUIREMENT TO ENTER THIS EVENT THAT I MUST ATTEND RIDERS BRIEFING AND REPORT ALL RACE INCIDENTS TO THE CLERK OF COURSE ON THE DAY OF THE MEETING. All entries must be submitted online and payment cleared in full at time of entry. Late entries can be taken at the discretion of the race secretary and an additional $100 late fee will be enforced. If a rider is unable to attend a round due to unforeseen circumstances a voucher / refund of entry or transfer of entry will be considered if a written application is made within 5 days of the event starting, to the Sports Secretary less $15 administration fee. If a rider participates in the race meeting, which includes practice and then wishes to withdraw from the event for any reason no refunds will be given. If it is necessary to cancel a round the entry fee will be transferred to the next round or refunded respectively. Proof of your FULL CURRENT GIPPSLAND CLUB MEMBERSHIP AND MA RACE LICENCE (National, Club or Day Licence purchased on the day) & JUNIOR LOG BOOK must be presented at sign in. JUNIOR AGE: A junior rider's age on January 1 will determine his/her age for competition that year. However, a rider may move to the next higher class when he/she becomes eligible to do so at any time during the year, but once a rider moves to the higher age class in any competition, he/she may not move back to the lower age class. Points earned in a lower class will not transfer to the higher class. This rule will apply to all riders up to and including 16 year olds. PERMISSION: has been granted to run classes with more that 4-year age differences. SENIOR RACES: will be approx 10 minutes. Classes of less than 6 entries may be deleted or combined with another suitable class on the program with approval of the M. A. Steward. JUNIOR RACES: will be approx 7 minutes but may be shortened or altered for any class with approval of the M. A. Steward. TRACKS: may be shortened or altered for any class of racing with approval of the M. A. Steward. Demo class may be run on a separate track. CHANGES TO RIDER NUMBERS MID SERIES ARE NOT TO BE USED UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL HAS BEEN GRANTED BY GIPPSLAND REGION SPORTS SECRETARY AND MUST BE ACCOMMPANIED BY MV OFFICIAL LETTER. INTERCLUB PERMITS: Details of track permit, meeting permit and the names of the M. A. Steward and Clerk of Course will be published in the program for each meeting. CODE OF CONDUCT All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the 2018 GCR s) that is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to all Airoh Helmet Gippsland Region Championship meetings and will be enforced. FINAL INSTRUCTIONS: Will be posted on the website the Thursday prior to the Event. RULE 11.16.11.1: A BIKE MAY BE REPLACED OR CHANGED AFTER MECHANICAL FAILURE TO A LESSER OR EQUAL CAPACITY PROVIDING THAT THE ORIGINAL BIKE HAS ATTEMPTED PRACTICE.
