Life on campus is a bit different once our students and families leave for summer vacation. So we kept ourselves busy in eager anticipation of your return. And return you did! As soon as the rolling gates were opened on August 22, and all of your smiling faces stepped back on campus, we were thrilled to great each one of you, and to welcome our new families too! We re off to a great start of a new school year! Let s make 2018-2019 a special time to remember! Transformed Loves...Transforming the World

2018 High School Retreat September 19-21 The annual three days, two nights High School Retreat, Final Countdown, is set for September 19 through 21. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen friendships, grow in Christ, and experience God s love. Students can look forward to a great time of fellowship, worship with the Corey Silversmith Band and challenging messages from our keynote speaker Ben Courson. PLACE: Green Valley Lake Christian Camp, Green Valley Lake, CA DATE: Departing on Wednesday, September 19 from MCS at 9:30am Returning on Friday, September 21 to MCS approximately by 2:00pm COST: $195.00 per student (Includes meals, lodging, and transportation) To register online, click here.

CREATIVITY IN THE HALLS OF JUNIOR HIGH! Snip, cut, paste and create! That s what our Junior High teachers were doing as they worked to get ready for the new school year. Check out some of their handy work! Keeping Jesus at the Center of our lives.

Fruit of the Spirit! Our beloved Elementary teachers are well rested after a much deserved summer vacation! They re energized and ready to teach! It s going to be a fantastic 2018-2019 year of learning and growing, both academically and spiritually! Look for a new Fruit of the Spirit focus each month. Elementary students are given cards for demonstrating the characteristics of love: joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23. In September we will be looking for students to show love to one another.

Maranatha Football Wins Against Crawford, 26-20 Maranatha Football battled it out with Crawford to take the win, 26-20. We are very proud of the players coming home with the win in double over-time. It was an epic game under the lights with both teams giving it their all, both physically and mentally.
