EVENT INFORMATION ABOUT Dressage (a French term meaning "training") is one of the three Olympic Equestrian Sports. It is a program of creating suppleness, balancing and obedience work that prepares a horse for future pleasure-riding or competition. It is the basic schooling of every riding horse. Under the guise of "flat work", it is what eventer/jumper trainers do with their horses when they are not schooling over fences. Competition is open to virtually every kind and size of horse and any age of rider. EVENT LOCATION 8 th, 9 th & 0 th August 07 State Equestrian Centre 303 Cathedral Ave, Brigadoon EVENING MEALS An evening meal will be available for purchase on the Saturday night, provided by WA Spit Roast. STABLES AND CAMPING If you require a stable and would like to camp on the grounds, book online at http://www.wa.equestrian.org.au/book-a-stable Generators must be Residual Current Device (RCD) protected and extension leads safety tagged. All waste in stables, portable yards at the SEC and at Swan Valley, must be removed before leaving the event. As everyone is aware, the SEC is open for anyone to come onto the grounds. We would encourage everyone to lock up floats, cars and secure any personal belongings. 4

Helper duties allocated to a club will be done on the basis of the number of entries per club ( helper per horse and rider combination).
