Teams may take athletes upstairs (mezzanine level) t warmup legs nly by stretching and perfrming an active warmup. Please be curteus f ther teams warming up and Spky Nk Sprts members r spectatrs wh may als be in this area. Timeliness & N Shw Plicy Teams must be n time t their game. If a game is running late, the next teams must be ready t g when the previus game is cmplete. Referees are instructed t run the clck whether r nt all teams are present. After 10 minutes withut a team and withut ntificatin, the match is frfeited. Game Balls Spky Nk Sprts will prvide game balls fr all matches. Size 3 (ages U8-U11) and size 4 (ages U12+).

Spectatr Viewing Areas Spectatrs are permitted t watch frm the mezzanine level r bleachers nly s that there is n interference with game play. Spectatrs are nt permitted n the curts during matches. Parking All rstered athletes and caches will receive a general parking pass n the first league night that will be valid fr the entire league seasn. This parking pass is gd fr the main lts nly. Please use the GPS address belw t avid the entrance n Spky Nk Rad, which is t be utilized fr drp-ff traffic nly. Parking in the member lt n the side f the building is nt allwed under any circumstance. Anyne parking in this lt withut a Spky Nk Fitness member parking pass will be twed. - GPS Address: 75 Champ Bulevard, Manheim, PA 17545. Ftwear, Shin Guards, & Jewelry Athletes must wear flat sled shes r sneakers fr play n hard surfaces. Cleats f any kind are nt permitted t be wrn n the curt surfaces. Shin guards are required fr all athletes. N jewelry is allwed t be wrn during league games. Athletic Trainer/First Aid Orthpedic Assciates f Lancaster (OAL) prvides athletics trainers fr ur facility. If an athlete is injured during a league game, the cach shuld alert the league directr, wh will call fr an athletic trainer t tend t the athlete. Fd & Beverage Plicy T supprt ur prvisin f quality fd selectins fr ur guests, we d nt allw clers r utside fd and beverage items int the facility. Athletes are allwed t bring up t 32 z. f water r sprts beverage int the facility and spectatrs may carry a single drink. Rsters & Player Waivers Spky Nk Sprts leagues utilize an nline rster system. Please use instructins prvided in the registratin cnfirmatin email n hw players may register themselves fr a team. All teams must ensure that all athletes cmplete the new nline waiver fr all rstered athletes and caches n the first night f the league. - Frzen rsters: Rsters will freeze in the third week f play (n additins, nly replacements in the case f an injury with dctr's nte). - Dual rstering is nt permitted: In a league where a champinship is awarded, dual rstering fr any player within the same divisin is nt permitted. Athletes may be rstered n different teams if they are participating in different divisins (fr example, ne player may be rstered t play n a U13 and U14 team, but nt t play n tw separate U13 teams). - Guest players: If a team has 6 r less players fr a match, they may email christinaa@nksprts.cm with the name f the additinal players and reasn t request a
guest player. All guest players will need t cmplete the nline waiver. Teams may use a guest player in playffs, but must frfeit the match with a scre f 5-0. League T-shirts Teams will turn in the t-shirt sizing frm n the secnd night f the futsal league (January 19, 2017). These exact cunts will be rdered. Additinal shirts will nt be rdered. A maximum f 12 shirts (rster limit) may be rdered per team and cunts must match the team s rster size. T-shirts will be distributed t caches by the end f the seasn. General Rules - N ffside - 5 secnds t put the ball int play n kick-ins, free kicks, crner kicks and gal clearances - Referees d NOT cunt ut lud but WILL give a 'hand gesture' in cunting Running Clck League game clcks d nt stp fr any reasn. Timeuts are nt permitted. 5 Gal Rule If a team is leading by 5 gals, the ppnent may add an extra player n the curt. If the team that is lsing scres and the deficit becmes 4, that team must then remve a player. Substitutins Substitutins are made n the fly. The player being substituted, n the way ff the curt, must be 5 yards frm his r her wn team's bench area when the player entering the curt is allwed n. Failure t cmply will result in an indirect free kick in the center f the half way line t the ther team. Kick Off All ppnents must be at least five yards frm the kick at the taking f the kick ff. A gal may nt be scred directly frm a kick ff. Kick ffs can be played any directin. The ball may nly be played ne time cnsecutively by a player n a kick ff. Players cannt dribble frm a kick ff. BALL OUT OF PLAY Kick In When the ball cmpletely crsses ne f the tuchlines a kick in is awarded t the ppsing team f the ne wh tuched the ball last at the spt where the ball went ut. A gal may nt be scred directly frm a kick in. A kick in may nt g ver head height (a kick in is awarded t the ppnent if they d). All ppnents must be 5 yards frm the ball and the player perfrming the kick in must have: - One ft either n the line r ff the field - The ball must be statinary - The ball must be placed either n the line r ff the pitch nt mre than 10 inches frm the line - The ball must be put int play within 5 secnds. If the ball is nt put int play within 5 secnds, a kick in is awarded t the ppsing team.
Gal Clearance A gal clearance is awarded when the ball cmpletely crsses the gal line last tuched by the attacking team. The galkeeper shall thrw r rll the ball int play using the hands when ready t d s. The ball must be put int play within 5 secnds and must cmpletely leave the penalty area befre any player can tuch it. If the ball is nt placed int play within 5 secnds, an indirect free kick shall be awarded t the ppnents in the center f the gal bx line. Galkeepers cannt thrw a gal clearance ver the half way line in the air (an indirect free kick is awarded n the center f the half way line if they d). In U8 t U11 games, ppnents MUST mve back t the half way line while taking a gal clearance. Please nte that this is nt every time the galkeeper has pssessin f the ball (nly fr a gal clearance). This rule des nt apply t U12+. If a galkeeper chses t restart play quickly befre the defending team retreats t the half, the referee can let the play cntinue. Hwever if the GK prceeds t play quickly (befre defending team retreats) and the attacking teams scres, a gal will be given. The galkeeper can receive a pass back t their feet as many times as they want. The galkeeper cannt dribble the ball back int their gal bx and pick it up. An indirect free kick is awarded n the tp f the gal bx, in the center, fr any f these infringements. Heading Heading is nt permitted in U8-U11. An indirect free kick is awarded at the spt f the ful fr this infringement. Indirect Fuls inside the Penalty Area Any indirect fuls that ccur inside the penalty area will result in an indirect kick frm the tp f the bx. Crner Kick A crner kick is awarded when the ball cmpletely crsses the gal line and was last tuched by the defending team. The ball must be placed n the crner where the end line and side line meets. The player perfrming the crner kick must kick the ball int play within 5 secnds f being ready t d s. If the ball is nt kicked int play within 5 secnds, a gal clearance shall be awarded t the ppsing team. A gal can be scred directly ff a crner kick. Crner kicks are NOT allwed t g ver head height, a gal clearance is awarded t the ppsing team fr this infringement. Fuls and Miscnduct Futsal is a game mre abut skill rather than physical play. There is always cntact. If the referee awards a ful against a team, the direct fuls in each half are accumulated and teams are penalized after 5 fuls. There is a 6th accumulated ful rule. Please keep in mind that indirect free kicks are NOT cunted as an "accumulated ful". Only direct free kicks are cunted. - Sixth Accumulated Ful With the 6th and subsequent fuls in ne half, a direct free kick withut a wall shall be taken at the tp f the gal bx in the center. The player taking the kick must be clearly identified and the kick shall be made with the intent f scring a gal. All ther players must remain 5 yards behind the ball until it is in play. The defending galkeeper must remain n the gal line until the ball is kicked. Accumulated fuls in the first half f play d nt carry ver t the secnd half. - Accumulated Fuls Resulting in a Direct Free Kick Kicking r attempting t kick an ppnent Tripping r attempting t trip an ppnent
Jumping at an ppnent Charges at an ppnent Strikes r attempts t strike an ppnent Pushing an ppnent Hlding an ppnent Spitting at an ppnent Handling the ball (except the GK in their penalty area) Slide Tackling Slide tackling is nt permitted n an ppnent. A direct free kick is awarded if there is a slide tackle n an ppnent. A field player may slide in instances where there is nt an ppnent clse by and n injury is likely t ccur. This wuld mst likely happen when a player is attempting t stp the ball frm ging ut f bunds r an ffensive player sliding t knck the ball int the gal where there is n ther defensive player clse t the play. Players and caches shuld use this general rule, if yu slide near a player, assume a ful may be called. - Exceptins: The GK is allwed t slide in an attempt t clear the ball, if in the referees' judgment, the slide is an attempt nly t make cntact with the ball, nt the ppnent. If GK is a least careless (a ft in air, a hk, rlling tackle) it is a ful and pssibly a cardable ffense. Penalty Kicks If a direct kick infringement against the defending team is made within the penalty bx, a penalty kick is awarded t the attacking team. A penalty kick is taken in the center, n the tp f the gal bx line. Players must remain 5 yards behind the ball until it is kicked by the penalty taker. The ball is live nce kicked. The defending galkeeper must remain n their gal line until the ball is played. Free Kicks All ppnents shall remain 5 yards frm the ball until it is in play. The ball is in play after it is tuched. The player taking the kick must put the ball int play within 5 secnds. If the ball is nt put int play within 5 secnds an indirect free kick shall be awarded t the ppsing team at the same spt. Yellw & Red Cards If a player receives a yellw card they must leave the curt immediately and be replaced by anther player. The yellw carded player cannt re-enter the game fr 2 minutes. If a cach is red carded, he r she must leave the curt and the playing area immediately. If a player is red carded they may immediately be replaced by anther player n the curt. Fr a nn-vilent player red card, the player may stay n the team bench (this is at the referee s discretin). Depending n the severity f the red card, that player r cach may be suspended fr the next game r the next tw games. If the incident is s severe, the red carded player r cach may be subject t suspensin frm the league. This will be decided by the league directr. Caches All teams must have designated head cach and assistant cach names n their rster. If a cach is ejected, we will allw an assistant cach t cntinue with the game. If there is n designated assistant cach named, a parent may NOT step in t cach. The game will be frfeited if cancelled due t a cach ejectin and n replacement cach being present.
Ties at the end f regulatin Regular seasn games may end in ties. Fr playff games where a winner must be determined, tie breakers will be as fllws until a winner is decided. Pints fr standings - Fr each win, a team earns 3 pints - Fr each tie, a team earns 1 pint - Fr each lss, a team earns 0 pints - Frfeits will be scred as a 10-0 lss Tie Breakers fr standings 1. Cin flip Nt Cvered in the Rules In the event that any item is nt cvered in the rules, the league directr (with assistance frm the league fficial) will make the fairest pssible decisin and that ruling will be final.
