CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING Saturday or Sunday = 45 per day Riders may school the cross country course of Holly Hill Farm. They must be accompanied by their instructor or a coach and must wear approved helmets and cross country vests. Cross country fees may be paid on either or both entry forms. Eventers: come ride your dressage test, school cross country and ride in the hunter and / or jumper classes. Sunday we have added a COMBINED TEST to the schedule! Make up your own schooling event. They will be scored as usual and score will count towards TSDS Year End Awards but no ribbon will be presented for this show. Refund Policy Entry fees will be refunded (less office fee and stall fees) IF show secretary is presented with veterinary certification for lameness or medical excuse for rider illness on or before the day of the show. Schooling Unsafe conduct & over crowding will NOT be tolerated. Longeing is NOT permitted in either arena at any time. Jumper courses may be schooled on Friday and before 8:30 AM Saturday. Hunter courses may be schooled on Friday evening and before 7:45 AM on Saturday. No schooling of CT SJ course. All day warm up in the covered arena. Please limit number of horses for safety to six at one time. Class Cancellations Over fence hunter & jumper classes will be run with only one rider. Under saddle hunter classes must have a minimum of 3 riders. If the under saddle class of a hunter division is canceled then that division Championship and Reserve Championship awards are not presented. List of canceled classes can be obtained at the Secretary s desk and will be announced. Pet Policy All pets must be kept on a leash (no longer than 6 feet) at all times when on the show grounds (arena, spectator area, concession, office, stabling and warm -up areas). Barking dogs must be removed! All pets are the responsibility of their owners. KEEP YOUR DOG AWAY FROM CRATED DOGS! PLEASE do not approach the score boards or concession area mounted or with your horse on lead. There are children playing in this area as well as leashed dogs and this is an unsafe practice. 3

Division will consist of three classes and be judged on equitation: Walk/Trot Equitation, Walk/Trot Hunter U/S, Walk/Trot Horsemanship (Riders may be asked to demonstrate : work collectively at the walk and /or trot, halt and /or back, figure eight, 2 point or jumping position over pole(s), and /or answer a question regarding basic horsemanship, tack, equipment and/or confirmation (USEF equitation tests) BEGINNER EQUITATION X rails ridden at the trot or canter. Open to all riders who have not jumped higher than 2 at any show. Ht 18 Flat class walk / trot / canter. SHORT / LONG STIRRUP EQUITATION DIVISION Open to all Junior and Adult Amateur riders (Short; 12 yrs of age or younger, Long; amateur riders 13 yrs of age & older) or horses who have not shown over fences 2 3 or higher at any show. Check progress before going to ring. Jumpers will compete in 300m x 300m Gran Prix ring! Footing is pristine aerovated sand with grass. Fabulous! K-9 will ribbon classes as listed above 1-6 places and award Reserve Championship and Championship in each of the five divs if entries warrant. Placings will be reported to the NLEA points committee in that manner for redistributing points by NLEA points committee for 2014 yr end points. Contact NLEA board members for further explanation. HUNTER DIVISIONS MODIFIED CHILD / ADULT HUNTER Open to all Junior & Adult Amateur riders, Rider may not enter classes where fences are 3 3 or higher at this show. Fences 2 6-2 9. CHILDREN S / ADULT HUNTER Open to all Junior and Adult Amateur riders. Rider may not enter classes where fences are 3 6 or higher at this show. Fences 2 9-3. PRE CHILD / ADULT HUNTER Open to all Junior and Adult Amateur riders. Rider may not enter classes where fences are 3 or higher at this show. Fences 2 3. SHORT / LONG STIRRUP HUNTER DIVISION Open to all Junior and Adult Amateur riders (Short; 12 yrs of age or younger, Long; amateur riders 13 yrs of age & older) who have not shown over fences 2 3 or higher at any show. Fences 2 Oxers are not allowed. 12 JUMP OFF ROUND CLASS If rider goes clean in 1st round must do jump off round at signal without leaving arena and starts jump off round. Least faults, fastest time wins. POWER & SPEED CLASS Rider must jump the power round clean (timing starts when power finish line crossed) and goes immediately to the speed course. Least faults, fastest time wins. SPEED CLASS Optimum time is defined as 4 secs less Time Allowed for 382 yds /min. Rider closest to Optimum Time (without going over) with the least faults will prevail. Faults will be scored under Table II. Proper Attire for all Exhibitors Polo shirts and breeches are considered acceptable attire and not penalized for all classes. Sleeveless not allowed. All Exhibitors must comply with US Equestrian Federation, U.S.D.F.. T.S.D.S & N.L.E.A.. headgear and harness requirements when mounted. Order of Go / Hunter & Jumper A ONE MINUTE TIME IS CALLED FOR THIS SHOW! Hunter over fence classes within divisions may be ridden back to back but must be in order. Warm up classes and other classes as warrant will be run as open card classes. Exhibitor must notify Paddock Master who will have it announced to the judge of their decision BEFORE beginning first of the two rounds or warm up round. Stabling Stalls are available on the show grounds for 45 per night with initial bedding included. No stall reserved without payment. STALLS WILL BE ASSIGNED BY ENTRY POSTMARK WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO STABLE GROUPS TOGETHER. STALL CARDS WILL BE POSTED AND MAY NOT BE MOVED.
