Important safety instructions! Read all instructions before using this product! 1. Keep area where you are flying the Kite clear. Cluttered areas invite injuries. 2. Observe area conditions. Make sure flying area is well lit. Keep flying area uncluttered and free of debris. Cluttered areas invite injury. 3. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. 5. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should be tight and hardware tightened. 6. For ages 9 and over. Always wear ANSI-approved impact safety goggles when using and assembling this product. 8. Maintain products with care. Keep the Kite in a dry location. Do not expose it to prolonged moisture. 9. Store idle equipment. When not in use always lock up the Kite and keep it out of the reach of children. 10. Dress properly. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair. 11. There are certain applications for which this Airplane Kite was designed. Do not modify this Kite and do not use this Kite for a purpose for which it was not intended. 12. Do not use or assemble the Airplane Kite if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. Unpacking When unpacking your Airplane Kite, check to make sure that all parts listed in the parts list on page 5 are included. Each of the Wings (1) must be assembled using two different sized Rods. Insert the Short Rod (2) into the fold along the leading edge of the Wing (1). Insert the Long Rod (3) into the fold along the opposite edge of the Wing (1). Repeat for second Wing (1)- see Figure 1. NOTE: When the Wings (1) are attached the flags should show on top. Figure 2 String (10) 2. Insert the Wings (1) into the tubes on the Fuselage (4) as shown in Figure 2. Note that the top of the flags should face the front of the Kite. Insert each of the Long Supports (5) through the opening in the center top of the Fuselage (4) as shown in Figure 3. Twist to remove the Nose (7) from the front of the Kite. Slide on the Propeller (8) and twist the Nose (7) back into place over the Propeller. As necessary, attach Ribbons (9) by opening the hooks on the Ribbon and clipping them onto the rear of the Tail as shown in Figure 4. Tie the String (10) onto the Fuselage as shown in Figure 2. Operating and Flying the Airplane Important: If damage is caused due to a crash; your warranty is void. 1. Face the Airplane Kite into the wind. Once the wind catches your Kite, slowly let out the Kite String (11). 2. 3. 4. Tug on the Kite String (11) to gently move the Kite upward against the wind. Maintain tension on the Kite by moving your body so that wind pushes against the Kite. Depending on wind conditions and movement of the Kite, add Ribbons (10) or remove ribbons from the hooks on the Tail. If the Tail drops to low, remove Ribbons (10); if the Nose of the Kite points to far towards the ground, add Ribbons (10). Inspection, Maintenance and Cleaning 1. Never use solvents or liquid cleaners to clean the Airplane Kite. Use of solvents or liquid cleaners will damage the material. Use only a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. 2. Before each use check for cracked or broken parts, damaged housing, damaged Rods, loose propeller and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. Do not use the Kite if it is damaged.
