Powered By Michigan Youth Flag Football/National Flag Football Sponsorship Proposal Help Send a Team(s) to this Once-in-a-Lifetime Tournament Experience Michigan Youth Flag Football is the largest NFL youth flag football organization in the country for boys and girls Pre-K (4 years of age) through 8th grade. This program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Launched in 2006, this NFL FLAG football program is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. Participants learn skills and lessons that will help them succeed both on and off the field. Michigan Youth Flag Football offers convenient locations throughout Southeastern Michigan. Last year we hosted over 12,000 children in the fundamentals of football. For the second year, we have partnered with Game On Cancer as the charitable partner for our 2015 Spring Tournament to be held at Ford Field on Saturday, June 13. Game On Cancer is an unprecedented initiative and partnership between Henry Ford Health System and The Detroit Lions to significantly raise awareness and funds for the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute (JFCI). With more than 14,000 cancer patients treated each year, JFCI at Henry Ford is one of the largest cancer institutes in the country. JFCI s doctors focus on personalized care, rapid diagnosis and expert treatment of the most complex cancers. The combination of experience, technology and compassion is why more patients choose JFCI than any other cancer facility in Michigan.
