A vote will be taken at this meeting. Steve Motsinger is collecting names for the Reynolds Park outing on November 7th. The time of day for this outing is 12:45pm. In this newsletter is a flyer with more information about the New Year's Weekend outing. The balance of the money should be paid by early December. The annual Christmas party will be held on Saturday, December 12th, hosted by Chris Whitaker and me at my home located at 704 Ragsdale Road, Jamestown. Attendance was down for a number of reasons but those who participated had a great time. Our special thanks to Drew Crawford, (formerly from Maple Leaf), and staff at Olde Home Place for a well run organization. Be sure and say something to him the next time out there. Despite the threat of weather earlier in the day, we had great conditions and a lot of fun. Everyone had a chance to win something and the competition was strong. Afterwards, we had a catered meal from Little Richard's and no one went home hungry. Everyone paid their prize money and all participants were eligible. Despite having a 10 on one hole, Cheryl Crook had a North Carolina personal best of a gross 99. Kevin Chrestman had a gross 79. We only have a couple more official outings before the end of the year. In October, chapters should have elected their chapter president for the 2010 calendar year beginning January 1. At the November meetings, chapters are suppose to elect their committee heads. All of this is according to your chapter bylaws (www.singlesgolf.com/bylaws). If you have not elected your leaders for next year, please make sure you do it by the end of November.
