WOLLONDILLY NETBALL ASSOCIATION Inc. PO Box 178 Picton NSW 2571 WNA General Meeting DATE: 27/02/2017 LOCATION: Tahmoor Inn MEETING COMMENCED: 7.10pm AGENDA ITEM 1. Attendance & Apologies: As per attendance sheets 2. Matters arising from previous minutes: NIL moved: Jacki Keller, Seconded: Jenny Waites NEW BUSINESS - We were expecting Rachel from Wilton Club to attend to discuss the new team. - Tia: Issue with her role as Rep Coordinator. There was never any indication of Tia giving up the Bargo Committee position and is registered under WNA. As a very small association it is hard to form an executive and only hold it to 2 members without getting reps from all clubs. May need to increase this to 3 unless each club nominates 2 people every year to continue us to run into the future. Still have vacant coaching position and we need clubs to think about it or we may need to change the constitution or enforce all clubs to nominate 2 people for consideration each year at the AGM. - Bethaney has volunteered to look after the Wilton club and take them under Buxton for 2017 season only. As Wilton is a big growth area we want them at WNA. ACTION - Bill will follow up with Rachel - All clubs do not have a problem with this. 3. Notice of Motion: NIL 4. New Elections: NIL 5. - Registrar: A reminder to all clubs that first fixtures are due by 5pm this Saturday 4 th March. I need the team lists completed which are on the WNA website and emailed back to me. Prior to final fixtures on the 17 th March, ALL teams need to be updated on the database as per their requested divisions the club has nominated. Come grading day on the 18 th March and teams have been moved into different divisions, I can make these changes at an association level prior to me completing the draws. I aim to have the draws completed by the following weekend, giving clubs exactly one week to let their teams/coaches know what times they will be playing in Round 1. Can I please get a list of forfeit contacts for each club so this can be updated prior to competition starting? Can clubs please start letting WNA know when they require using a court for coaching/training so the spreadsheet can be updated. Accepted: Bridget Allen, Seconded: Jacki Keller - Rep Coordinator: Training recommenced, fitness started, and money for fitness invoiced. 17s went to Oceania Cup and came second. Thanks to umpires and supporters. Rep carnivals start in 2 weeks 12 th March at Bankstown. Feedback is to go to coach first then to Tia. Regional league lodged this afternoon. What do we do if dresses don t arrive by 12 th March? Looking at 20 th March, may need to wear t-shirts and shorts. Bridget will chase suppliers. Sent out EOI for 12s dev, 15s and over 35s for players to join teams. Not enough left over from lists. Need to open up to try and fill team otherwise teams will fold. We ask clubs to help us. 15s running with 8, 12s come to training Thursday 5-6.30pm and see what goes on.
