Junior High Volleyball - Summer Sports Camp For athletes entering Grade 6-9 The high school daytime camp is open to athletes going into Grade 9 who feel that their skill level is high for their age. These camps are designed for young athletes of all ages and levels of ability. They focus on a particular sport and offer players the opportunity to learn or develop their game. Coaches promote teamwork, cooperation and a spirit of good sportsmanship and all take place in a fun, inclusive learning environment. Participants will benefit from an improved level of fitness, skill-specific drills, game play opportunities and the chance to meet other local athletes. High School Volleyball Summer Sports Camp For athletes entering Grade 10-12 This camp sees a greater increase in time spent with participants split into their positions of preference. Development is encouraged based on techniques and tactics that are position specific and taught by coaches who have excelled in that position. Team play will see a variety of offensive and defensive strategies that the participants may expect to see when they get to a higher level of play. Kodiaks camps give players crucial time to develop individual skills in the off season. The key to a good camp is coaching and our Kodiaks developmental sports camps feature some of southern Alberta s best coaches and Kodiaks players who will help to make next season, the best ever! INLINE HOCKEY, ALL THE THRILL WITHOUT THE CHILL Lethbridge Roller Hockey What is Inline Hockey? Inline or roller hockey is a game similar to ice hockey with the major difference is that it is played on a smooth surface with roller blades. The team on the surface is comprised of 4 skaters and a goalie. There is no hitting and no icing. ORGANIZATION OF THE LEAGUE Registrations are accepted from individuals, groups of friends or complete teams. The Chinook Country Shooters Club (CCSC) is offering free handgun shooting to anyone 17 years or younger (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). A qualified CCSC instructor will provide a one-on-one firearm experience and a safe place to try target shooting. Your instructor will provide basic firearm safety instruction and show you how to operate a revolver or semi-automatic pistol.
