Our annual Succeeding Together program celebrates the huge impact The First Tee has on students across the country and allows participants to express how The First Tee has had a positive effect on their lives. Event Details: Eligible participants of The First Tee can enter a contest for the opportunity to win a trip for two to attend the Wells Fargo Championship PGA TOUR event in Charlotte, N.C. Do not enter this contest if you re not able to accept a Grand or First prize if you win. You and your parent or legal guardian (or other designated individual 25 years of age or older) must be able to travel 5/1/2018-5/4/2018 ( Grand Prize ) or 5/4/2018 5/7/2018 ( First Prizes ) Participant Selection: Ten Finalists will be selected to win $500 cash. From the Finalists, four winners will be chosen to travel to Charlotte to attend the Championship; one Grand Prize winner and three First Prize winners along with one guest each. The Grand Prize winner will also have the opportunity to play in the tournament s pro-am with a PGA TOUR player of their choice (subject to the player s availability). The three First Prize winners will receive a VIP Honorary Observer experience at the Wells Fargo Championship, complete with behind the ropes access on the course. Eligibility: For participants of The First Tee to be eligible to apply for the 2018 Wells Fargo Succeeding Together SM Contest they must meet ALL of the following requirements: Ages 13 18. Do not enter this contest is you are going to turn 19 on or before 5/7/18. Acceptable Golf Ability USGA handicap of 18 or below as of 3/19/18 and completed at least one local, regional or national tournament in 2016, 2017 or 2018. Active in The First Tee Participant Database upon submission of application. Entered in The First Tee Participant Database at Birdie-level or above. Grand/First Prize winners from prior Wells Fargo Succeeding Together Contests are not eligible to enter or win. Finalists from previous contests are eligible. Selection Process: Following the close of the contest, a judging committee made up of home office staff, chapter staff and Wells Fargo staff will review the essays and identify the ten finalists by assigning point values to the categories. Finalists names will be posted on the Website on or about April 4, 2018. First and Grand Prize winners will be notified by telephone by the Contest Administrator for Wells Fargo between April 9 and 12 and (subject to completion of the verification process) posted on the website on or about April 18.
