Sweeps Match Sponsorship What are Sweeps? Prior to each of the 13 Summer Music Series performances, and the 4 Saturday performances, volunteers engage the audience asking for donations. Matching a portion of these donations encourages more participation by those who truly value what the Series offers. A match helps ensure that this unique and highly popular series remains a vital part of summertime life in Lancaster. How does the Match Work? If the amount collected from the Sunday concert audience is below $1,000, the donor would match the amount raised. If the amount exceeds $1,000, the donor would match $1,000. Proceeds from the sweeps will be verified to the donor by the Long s Park Amphitheater Foundation. If you sponsor one of the Saturday concert sweeps, that amount is $500. The Long s Park Amphitheater Foundation can produce this unique and free Series solely by the generosity of the community. Financial support comes from individual donations, corporate sponsorships, grants from private foundations and proceeds from the Labor Day Art Festival. The sweeps are an increasingly vital source of revenue for the production of the Series.
