attractions interim uses The ArcelorMittal Orbit is only the first of many world-class attractions to be featured at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The dynamic South Plaza will be animated with a variety of exciting new attractions to be enjoyed by the millions of visitors to the Park. The Legacy Company is looking for development and operating partners to help take these initiatives forward beginning in late 2013 when the Park begins to reopen after the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Examples of the types of attractions the Legacy Company are looking for range from rides to museums, ice skating rinks to water and light shows. Approximately 106 acres of the future Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are reserved for development and therefore available following the 2012 Games. These vacant development spaces will provide space for a range of community, cultural and commercial investment opportunities.
