THE OPPORTUNITIES

Press centre and Broadcast centre space in the Press Centre and Broadcast Centre The Press Centre comprising 29,000m2 of office space, and the Broadcast Centre which offers 62,000m2 of flexible commercial space, are both located in the north west of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, an area which will become an all encompassing commercial district. Businesses of all types will enjoy the well-connected and buzzing area, taking advantage of the facilities in Westfield Stratford City and the rest of the Park. The area also builds on the ambition for East London Tech City, extending the belt of innovative businesses from Shoreditch and Old Street, through to the City and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

CHObham manor Future Phases Future phases of development to accommodate up to 8000 homes on the Park will provide new residential communities with supporting local retail, business space, leisure opportunities, hotels, two new primary schools and one new secondary school with supporting health services and community infrastructure. Chobham Manor will be the first neighbourhood delivered in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park after the 2012 Games, part of the first phase of an extensive twenty year development plan. Chobham Manor will focus on building a thriving community extending to 9.3 ha area between the Athletes Village and the VeloPark, with a border along the green open spaces of the north parklands. Construction is expected to begin in Autumn 2013 and continue through 2017. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is the UK s most important regeneration project and now is the time to become part of this extraordinary investment opportunity. Andrew Altman, Chief Executive of the Olympic Park Legacy Company Chobham Manor will feature tree-lined avenues, intimate streets and mews houses, terraced homes with private gardens and open squares, reflecting the traditional character of London s neighbourhoods. With a high proportion of houses designed for families, Chobham Manor will also offer excellent facilities to meet their needs. Facilities include a walk-in health centre, two nurseries, community space and local retail, as well as providing easy access to nearby Chobham Academy school for 3-19 year olds (opening in 2013). 800 70% 2013 3,000 m Circa 800 homes 2 70% family houses (3 bedrooms or over) Construction begins 3,000 m² community and ancillary facilities

attractions interim uses The ArcelorMittal Orbit is only the first of many world-class attractions to be featured at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The dynamic South Plaza will be animated with a variety of exciting new attractions to be enjoyed by the millions of visitors to the Park. The Legacy Company is looking for development and operating partners to help take these initiatives forward beginning in late 2013 when the Park begins to reopen after the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Examples of the types of attractions the Legacy Company are looking for range from rides to museums, ice skating rinks to water and light shows. Approximately 106 acres of the future Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are reserved for development and therefore available following the 2012 Games. These vacant development spaces will provide space for a range of community, cultural and commercial investment opportunities. If you are interested in finding out more about any of the opportunities on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, contact us at info@legacycompany.co.uk The types of opportunities will vary from small budding entrepreneurs to established local and national operators. Some of the options currently being considered include pre-fabricated artists workshops, temporary installations, event spaces, markets, pop-up restaurants, and community gardens. These installations range in time scales from 6 months to more significant opportunities of up to 15 years. These will create a vibrancy and sense of place around the Park promoting the area as a popular visitor destination and helping the seamless transition from Games-time to long-term use. The Company will be inviting entrepreneurs, artists, small business owners, and event operators to submit proposed ideas for these spaces to inform the evolving strategy and design.
