Exact dates can be found in the School Calendar. Except f those days on which the school has given permission f other attire, each student is required to wear a complete, clean unifm. Personal hygiene should be a cooperative efft between child and parent /guardian that results in cleanliness of body and apparel. Please be sure unifms are clean, neat, and in good repair. All students should take pride in their appearance and dress properly f school, trips, and activities. The school is the student s place of business and, as such, the administration has an educational responsibility to enfce the dress code regulations. Shoes must be suitable f school. Shoes should be black, brown, tan, navy blue. Unacceptable footwear includes platfms, sneakers, clogs, backless toeless shoes, high heels, boots, and wheeled sneakers. Shoes should be tied at all times. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Girls skirts are to be an appropriate length. Trousers, shts, and skirts must be wn at the natural waist. Polo shirts and sweaters vests without the school emblem are not permitted. Girls may wear a pair of post earrings only. Any other body piercings are not permitted and may not be displayed by boys girls. Boys may not wear earrings. Watches may be wn, but all noise devices must be turned off. Neither males n females are permitted to wear fad hairstyles. The hair length f males must not extend beyond the top of the shirt collar. Inappropriate hair coling is not permitted. The Administration reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of style col. Make-up is not permitted. Nail polish should be light in col. Tattoos are not permitted. The Administration and Faculty are aware that any dress code cannot cover all situations. We reserve the right to decide, in all circumstances, if the student s dress is appropriate unacceptable. On occasion, including birthdays, students may be permitted an out-of-unifm day. We expect the attire to be appropriate, modest, well-fitting, and clean. No article of clothing should be excessively wn soiled. Indecent inappropriate writing pictures on clothing is prohibited. Clothing must cover the body appropriately. F example, halter tops, transparent mesh tops, bare midriff shoulders, tank tops, shts cut too sht, etc. are not permitted. Flip flops, hats, and caps in school are not permitted. The Administration reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the appropriateness of student dress.

DRESS CODE REMINDERS The following clothing and/ accessies are not permitted at Saint Bartholomew School: Make-up Except f light cols, nail polish may not be wn. Hanging and/ large earrings f girls, any earrings f boys. Tattoos body piercing; other than one-hole, pierced ears f the girls. Except f physical education days, no sneakers may be wn. Shoes must be solid black, brown, tan, navy blue. No open back shoes, no clogs, and no heels. Socks and tights are to be solid in col with no designs. Sweatshirts other outerwear, other than the school vest sweater blazer, may not be wn over school unifms. No sht-shts, exposed belly shirts, strapless tops, tank tops, exposed undergarments, other clothing items deemed inappropriate by administration. ----------------------------------------------------- Shirts must be tucked into pants/skirts. Hairstyles are expected to be neat and clean. Boys hair must be trimmed to the collar. Boys and girls hair must be away from hanging in the face. Hairstyles and any artificial hair cols considered extreme by administration, including green, pink, purple, blue, ange, and yellow, are inappropriate and unacceptable.
