With the following exceptions: 1. Age control date MAY 1, 2018 will be the date to determine ages. Photocopies of birth certificates, report cards (proof of grade) and team insurance will be required at all events. New Age/Class Requirements for 2018 6U Division: Any player who turns seven (7) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Kindergarten. Any player who turns eight (8) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible 7U Division: Any player who turns eight (8) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in First Grade. Any player who turns nine (9) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible irrespective of enrolled grade. 8U Division: Any player who turns nine (9) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Second Grade. Any player who turns ten (10) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible irrespective of enrolled grade. 9U Division: Any player who turns ten (10) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Third Grade. Any player who turns eleven (11) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible irrespective of enrolled grade. 10U Division: Any player who turns eleven (11) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Fourth Grade. Any player who

turns twelve (12) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible 11U Division: Any player who turns twelve (12) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Fifth Grade. Any player who turns thirteen (13) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible irrespective of enrolled grade. 12U Division: Any player who turns thirteen (13) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Sixth Grade. Any player who turns fifteen (15) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible 14U Division: Any player who turns fifteen (15) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Eighth Grade. Any player who turns eighteen (18) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible 17U Division: Any player who turns eighteen (18) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Eleventh Grade (HS Junior). Any player who turns nineteen (19) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible 18U Division: Any player who turns nineteen (19) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be eligible unless such player is enrolled in Twelfth Grade (HS Senior). Any player who turns twenty (20) years of age prior to May 1st of the current season shall not be

eligible 2. Protest fee: $100.00 cash on rules interpretation ONLY. 3. Game time starts at the completion of the coin toss. 4. Home team is determined by a coin flip in pool play. For bracket play, the higher seed is the home team. 5. A team may start and finish a game with 8 players but must take an OUT in the vacated 9th position until the player arrives at the field and can be inserted into the line-up. 6. Time limits pool and bracket play: 1:20 for 6u-8u 1:30 for 9u-10u 1:40 for 11u-12u 1:50 for 13u-14u 2:00 for 15u and up Pool games can end in a tie. All tied bracket games after regulation will go to last batted out on 2nd base with no outs to start extra innings.

Out of the Park Tournaments reserves the right to change pool and bracket game times if the threat of weather conditions will affect completion of the tournament. 7. No pitching limits. But please use arm care correctly. Out Of The Park Tournament is not an arm monitor. All coaches are responsible for the health and care of their player s arm. As travel coaches, your parents should feel comfortable in your pitching choices. No game is worth hurting a young players arm. 8. Once a pitcher has been removed from the mound, and the next pitcher takes his first warm-up toss from the mound that pitcher may not re-enter the game as a pitcher. 9. Visits to the mound: NFHS rules are in play. Each team is allowed 3 charged visits to the mound in a game. A charged visit is a trip to the mound in which a manager or coach does not remove the pitcher. After 3 charged visits to the mound, every visit to the mound will result in that pitcher being removed. 10. Baseballs: Furnished by the teams. 1 new and 1 good used ball per game 11. Metal cleats in ages 13 and up only. No metal cleats on portable mounds regardless of age group. 12. Bats 13u and under must have BPF 1.15, and all bat sizes are acceptable. 14U -5 or -3 BBCOR or Wood 15u and up -3 BBCOR or wood only. Youth Bats- NON BBCOR Bats: Bats must have the 1.15 Stamp on it. any player using a bat without a stamp will cost his manager of record a first-time warning, and a second time the manager will be ejected, and bat confiscated until end of the event or teams exit from event. Any Bat that the end Cap comes off of will be confiscated until the end of the tournament for inspection, at which time it will be returned to the team upon its exit.

13. Player numbers are required on jerseys however matching uniforms are not required. 14. Weather: Out Of The Park Tournament may need to change the game times and format to complete the tournament. Coaches and players accept these conditions when entering a tournament. 15. All teams may use an Extra Hitter if they choose to bat 10. Both an Extra Hitter and Designated Hitter may be used at the same time. 9u -17u may bat their entire line-up and have free substitutions. If using a continuous line-up, the last batted out will be used as a courtesy runner for the pitcher or catcher. Teams are not required to bat all players. 16. Free defensive substitutions throughout the game except for the pitcher. Teams are not required to bat all players 17. Run rules are as follows: 6 Inning game - 12 after 3rd and 8 after 4 th. 7 inning game - 12 after 3rd, 10 after 4 th, and 8 after the 5th. 18. Slashing is NOT allowed. 19. 6u-8u Coach Pitch only. A ball must go 20-feet in front of home plate to be fair. A fair ball arc will be drawn on the field. Infield players must stay behind the safety arc until the ball is hit. The safety line is 30-feet from 1st base to 3rd base in front of home plate. Big barrel bats are allowed. Players are not allowed to bunt. 10 players are on the field with 4 being in the outfield. The 4th outfielder may not play an infield position. All outfielders must stay behind the baseline. Free substitutions on defense, however, the batting order must stay the same. Teams are not required to bat all players. Umpires will call time after every play and will call dead ball. Time should be called as soon as the lead runner is not attempting to advance. A player can only be intentionally walked 1 time per game. Infield fly rules DO NOT APPLY. A batter will receive a MAXIMUM of 6 pitches or 3 swinging strikes. A batter fouling the ball on the 6th pitch or after can continue they re at bat until they take a pitch or swing and miss or hit the ball. Courtesy runner for the catcher only with the runner being the last batted out.

When a batted ball hits the pitching coach, it will be the umpire s judgment call if the coach did not attempt to avoid the ball, if the batter is out or another pitch is warranted. A defensive pitcher may not leave the pitching circle until the ball is hit. 7 runs max per inning including the last inning. 20.7UKP-8UKP 40-60, 9U Closed Bases 46-65 Nine (9) defensive players shall play in the field Balk rules shall not apply. A batter shall be automatically out on a dropped/missed third (3rd) strike by the catcher. Runners shall not advance when the pitcher is on the pitching rubber with the ball in his possession, and the catcher is in position to receive a pitch. On a base on balls, the batter may attempt to steal second before the pitcher and catcher coming set at his own risk, but if a runner is on third, he may not advance home even if the defense attempts to throw the runner out at second base. Runners shall not lead-off but may advance at their own risk (steal) once a pitched ball has passed the home plate. When a runner tries to advance before the pitched ball passing home plate, the following shall apply: If the runner advances safely, the Umpire shall call Time and the runner shall return to the base last legally occupied at the time of the pitch. If the runner is called out, the call shall stand, and the runner is out. If the ball is hit, the defensive team shall have the option of the result of the play or Runners shall not advance from third (3rd) base to home unless the runner is batted home or forced by a base on balls, hit batsman, or award from the Umpire. Runners shall not advance from third (3rd) base to home on passed balls, wild pitches or dropped/missed third (3rd) strikes by the catcher. 21- Boys Baseball Machine Pitch 8u Wheel Pitch Rules NO Bunting and stealing All 2¼ bats are allowed (except Easton Red Stealth and NO Big Barrels) No pearl baseballs (team provides their own ball) NO infield fly rule Run rule: 12 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5 60-minute time limit finish the inning Curtsey runner for catcher only (sub if available or last batted out) Machine digital setting at 40mph

Roster Online rosters must be completed by 8:00 AM the morning of the tournament. Rosters are limited to 22 players, and a player can be on multiple rosters however the player can only play with 1 team per in an Out of the Park tournament for a given weekend. If a player plays on multiple teams during a tournament, both teams will forfeit all remaining games (i.e. the player cannot play with one team Saturday during a 1-day event and another team on Sunday during a 2-day event). No rosters will be frozen. 23. No fireworks allowed. 24. Pets are not allowed at any city or county owned facility. For all parks, please refer to the part website for specific rules regarding pets. 25. Above all else be a positive leader and have fun!!
