Welcome to the overview of MDT Connect 2017 - MDT s Annual Client Conference! Monday May 22, 2017 Two offsite, all-day activities are offered today our always popular Golf Outing or an interesting day at Meadow Brook Hall. GOLF OUTING This year s Golf Outing will be held at the course we played last year the Oakhurst Golf and Country Club in Clarkston, Michigan. We heard a lot of positive feedback about the course from last year s participants - and everyone had an excellent afternoon! On Monday morning, we will meet in the Westin Southfield lobby for coffee and then golfers will load their clubs and board the shuttle for Oakhurst. After registration at the course, there will be time for you to head out to the driving range or putting greens before the shotgun start. Lunch will be served on the course during your round. After your 18 holes, everyone will meet back at the clubhouse where prizes will be awarded and an early dinner will be served. The shuttle will then take you back to the Westin Southfield. Monday (continued) May 22, 2017 LUNCH AND A TOUR OF MEADOW BROOK HALL ROCHESTER HILLS, MI Monday s alternative to the Golf Outing will be a trip to Rochester Hills, the home of Meadow Brook Hall, an 88,000 sq. ft. home built by Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automobile pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, lumber broker Alfred Wilson. On Monday mid-morning, you will board a shuttle bus that will transport you to Rochester Hills. We have lunch at Bravo! Cucina Italiana, a casual Italian restaurant with great tasting food! Afterwards, we will tour Meadow Brook Hall ( http://meadowbrookhall.org/ ). From their website: Constructed between 1926 and 1929, for $4 million, Meadow Brook represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America. The expansive collection provides visitors with insight into local history that has had an international impact, making this estate, with its family archives and original furnishings, unlike any place you have seen before. It really is a gorgeous estate. Later in the afternoon, everyone will board the shuttle bus for the trip back to the Westin Southfield. It should be a relaxing day of good food, great conversation and a chance to explore one of the great estates in the Detroit area. March 2, 2017 Page 2
