If yu are shting/putting fr an 8 and miss, please pickup yur ball and mve n BALL SEARCHING 2019 Rule: Under Rule 18.2, the time fr a ball search (befre the ball becmes lst) will be reduced frm 5 minutes t 3 minutes. We will adpt this new rule this year Reasns fr Change: Limiting the search perid t 3 minutes is mre cnsistent with the underlying principle that glf is t be played in a prmpt and cntinuus way, withut lng pauses in play. In mst cases, if the ball is ging t be fund, it will be fund within the first 3 minutes. Althugh this change may increase the number f lst balls, n average the verall impact shuld be t speed up play. Knwing that the search time is limited t 3 minutes shuld encurage players t play a prvisinal ball when they believe there is a chance their ball may nt be fund. If it has been raining all day, the league will inevitably cancel/pstpne. If there are scattered shwers with n visible dangerus weather either n curse r n radar, be prepared t play There are a cuple f autmatic n brainer circumstances when we will cancel league play: I. Dangerus weather including lightning, very high winds, and trrential rain. II. Carts nt allwed n the curse If either f thse tw things ccur, we cancel play immediately. If a decisin can be made early in the day, r the curse has becme unplayable, that decisin will be psted n the League Website by 2:00pm. If yu d nt have access t the website, yu may call the curse directly at (651) 501-6321 and the vice mail will have an updated message fr yu. We will als send a league wide email (make sure the curse has an updated email address fr yu) If it is after 2:00 P.M., yu must assume the league will still be played and yu will need t be prepared t play. Yu can certainly keep checking the website r calling the check-in desk fr any updates. If weather causes the entire night t be washed ut, yu will receive a rain check the fllwing week T cmplete league night play, we may delay the play as lng as pssible depending n daylight. In rder t cmplete a rund, at least 80% f that night s tee times will need t have finished the rund. Thse that d nt finish, will receive rain checks League Champinship Rund 1 - if weather causes a delay r pstpnement, any flights that finished will be fficial. Lne Ranger 4-Persn Team Event (Week 8) This is a 4-persn Team event using the Lne Ranger scre and ne ther best NET scre f the remaining players. All players will play frm their regular weekly tees (white fr pen league and gld fr Champins Divisin) Each player will play as the Lne Ranger n at least tw hles If yu are the Lne Ranger n the first hle, yu will als be the Lne Ranger n the 5 th and 9 th hles (3 hles); Then the 2 nd & 6 th are the same player, the 3 rd & 7 th are same player, and 4 th & 8 th are fr the same player. (The scre card will be marked accrdingly with wh is the Lne Ranger and n which hle. Each team will assign players t hles based n league screcard. Screcard will have hles highlighted by clr fr hle assignments based n abve. (1,5&9, 2&6, 3&7, 4&8) If a team has nly three players, the Lne Ranger hles are 1,4&7 2,5&8 3,6&9 (The Lne Ranger scre and 1 ther best NET scre is used) If a team has nly tw players, BOTH scres will be used n each hle. Week ne play will be with yur regularly scheduled grup Week tw, Champinship Night, will be played in yur respective flights based n results f week 1. There will be n players frced int the Champinship Flight. The Champinship Flight will be an ptin nly fr thse that want t cmpete at the highest level and frm the black tees in a GROSS ONLY divisin. Many players in grups 1 & 2 will ptin up t the Champinship Flight, thus balancing the fur flights. This allws thse that were frced t play frm the black tees t be able t stay in a lwer flight frm the white tees.
