MAKE IT 4 YEARS IN A ROW: The Cavaliers (50-32) finished with the 4 th -best record in the Eastern Conference and are headed to the postseason for the 4 th straight season (22 nd time in franchise history). CENTRAL CHAMPS: The Cavaliers also won the Central Division title for the 4 th straight season and just the 7 th time in team history (75-76, 08-09, 09-10, 14-15, 15-16, 16-17). They clinched the division title after a 123-109 win at New York on April 9. ANOTHER 50-WIN SEASON: At 50-32, Cleveland notched their 4 th straight 50-win season and 11 th overall (88-89, 91-92, 92-93, 05-06, 06-07, 08-09, 09-10, 14-15, 15-16, 16-17 & 17-18). GETTING OFFENSIVE In 2017-18, the Cavs averaged 110.9 points (5 th in NBA) on.476 shooting from the field (5 th in NBA) and 23.4 assists (12 th in NBA). They topped the 100-point plateau on 66 of 82 games. THE CENTURY MARK STREAK: From Nov. 1-Dec. 21, the Cavs scored 100 points or more in 26 straight games, their 2 nd - longest streak in team history (36 straight from 1/15/80-3/3/80). From Nov. 1-Jan. 28, the Cavs scored at least 100 points in 20 consecutive home games, their longest streak since 1988-89 (27 straight home games, 11/19/88-3/2/89). 110+ & 120+ POINTS: The Cavs had 110+ points on 46 occasions (38-8), including 120 points or more 21 times (19-2). From Feb. 7-13 & from March 19-25, the Cavs scored at least 120 points in a FRANCHISE-RECORD 4 straight games. 130+ & 140+ POINTS: Cleveland put up 130+ points 5 times (4-1), including a season-high 140 points in their overtime win over Minnesota on Feb. 7. EFFICIENT OFFENSE: This past season, the Cavs had 4 games with percentages of at least.500 from the field,.400 from three-point range and.900 from the charity stripe. Cleveland only accomplished that feat twice last season (11/25/16 vs. DAL, 2/8/17 at IND), one time in 2015-16 (4/5/16 at MIL) and none in 2014-15. 30 ASSISTS: Cleveland dished out at least 30 assists on 7 occasions this past season, including 3 straight games from Dec. 14-17. The last time Cleveland shot at least.600 from the field and.600 from beyond the arc in the same game was on March 16, 2003 versus Utah (50-83,.602 FG%/ 7-11,.636 3FG%). Their 26-game streak is a team record for consecutive games with 10 or more threes (prev. 16 twice, 10/25/16-11/29/16 and 3/9/16-4/5/16) and is tied for the 3 rd -longest streak in NBA history (Boston, 26 straight from 1/21/2017-3/15/2017). The last such game for any NBA team to have two bench players each score 24 points or more was the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 19, 2016 (Ryan Anderson-26, Jrue Holiday-24). He shot.436 (164-376 3FG, 6 th -best percentage in NBA) from deep in 2017-18 and led the Cavs with 164 triples. SWISH MOVIN UP: J.R. Smith ranks 12 th all-time in career three-pointers made with 1,917 three-pointers over his career. MOST CAREER GAMES W/ 7+ 3FGM (REG. SEASON) Player THE LOVE MACHINE In 59 games (all starts) this past season, Kevin Love had 31 double-doubles (tied-15 th -most in NBA) and averaged 17.6 points and a team-high 9.3 rebounds (12 th in NBA) in 28.0 minutes. He scored at least 20 points 26 times and 30-plus points 3 times. Love also shot.415 from deep (19 th in NBA) and a career-high.880 from the foul line (12 th in NBA). Love was one of two NBA players in 2017-18 to average at least 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.0 threes made per game (DeMarcus Cousins). DOUBLE-DIGIT BOARDS: Love grabbed at least 10 boards on 31 occasions. 1,000 THREES: Kevin Love nailed his 1,000 th career three-pointer in a win over Toronto on March 21, while tallying a double-double (23 PTS, 12 REB, 4 AST, 30 MIN). He is the only player in NBA history to have a career average at least 10.0 rebounds and make 1,000 threes or more. 2018 ALL-STAR: Kevin Love was selected as a 2018 NBA All-Star reserve. Love joined LeBron James as a 2018 All-Star, marking the ninth time in franchise history that at least two Cavs players have been selected for the event (1972, 1989, 1992, 1993, 2005, 2009, 2015, 2017). His 2018 All-Star selection marked the fifth for Love, who was previously named as a reserve in 2011, 2012 and 2017 and as a starter in 2014. XMAS EXPLOSION: At Golden State on Christmas Day, Love connected on a season-high six three-pointers and finished with 31 points and a seasonhigh 18 rebounds in 36 minutes of work. It was his 3 rd 30-15 game as a member of the Cavaliers (11/7/17 vs. MIL and 12/29/16 vs. BOS) and 30 th of career. 11K POINTS: Love scored the 11,000 th point of his career with his 15 th point at Atlanta on Nov. 30, 2017. He finished the night with 25 points and 16 rebounds in 33 minutes. He also topped 4,000 points as a member of the Cavalier (4 th point in the win). BIG FIRST QUARTER: In a win over Miami on Nov. 28, Kevin Love scored 22 points in the first quarter and ended the night with a season-high 38 points (10-16 FG, 4-8 3FG, 14-17 FT) and nine rebounds in just 25 minutes of work.
