Caroline was good enough to take notes for me. There were 40 attending this morning, including some past members, Charlie and George Monroe long with Ann Skoglund and a guest by the name of Sandy Winner. The birthday drawing was won by Fred Knapp. The 50/50 winner was Charlie Monroe, welcome back Charlie!!! Our ticket winners were Willie, Debbie Trask, Tim McDonald, Penny (2x), Clem, and Dave Bennett. Penny did win $1.00 on one of the scratch-offs. That s pretty much all I have for this month, but hope to see you all next month. ODDS and ENDS Overnighter Make sure you let us know if you have made your hotel reservation, so we know numbers. Either let Ray & Elma or Joan & Roger know. So far we have 22 people going. Interesting facts: we have 8 Spyders, 3 Trikes, 1- two wheel Harley, and 1 truck going on the trip. 2013 Wednesday Rides Should start next month! We need leaders! If you have any suggestions, let us know! It could be a different day of the week if your idea would not work on a Wednesday. Terri 1

Let s Meet for Lunch Overnighter 2014 There were 16 who attended lunch for April at Pizzaland. There were quite a few who took home doggie bags for future meals. At least you can t say you didn t get your money s worth. Jackie and Fred joined us today. The first of our group to return for the summer. It was good to see them. I m also happy to say that Elsa was there, walking without a cane or assistance of any kind after have a hip replacement. She is doing well and I m sure Clem is glad she is on her feet again. The 50/50 was won by yours truly. I ve had a good run of luck over the past 3-4 months so I guess I ll have to set back next month and give someone else a chance. Thanks to everyone who attended today and hope to see you next month. Terri The dates for the 2014 overnighter are July 22-25 th. So put it on your calendar. Our hotel for the stay will be the Comfort Inn, in Bradford PA. The rooms are already blocked, so you can make your reservations any time. They will be held until June25th. So make sure you call them before that date. They have a full breakfast and the rooms are either King or double Queen. The price is $90 plus tax- they also have a pool Phone number is 814-368-6772- and mention that you are with the Hudson Highland Retreads. Please let us know when you sign-up. Some of the things we will be seeing are: the Zippo/Case Museum (www.zippo.com), the School House Shops/café- World War II museum (www.eldredwwiimuseum.net/), the Kinsua Sky Walk (visitanf.com/kinzua-state-park-sky-walk), plus a few other things. Spring Fling On April 26th we had 41 attend our annual Spring Fling, held at Brooks Roost to kick off the riding season. The weather was not riding weather as it rained off & on, but we had 1 brave sole who rode his new Spyder. Ted & Terri Beers were missed as they had a family funeral to attend. There was lots of door prizes, even some left over, that we will take to the Poker Run in August. Some more of our snow birds returned and were there, great to see them. Next year s date for our Spring Fling, same venue, will be April 18th- so put it on your calendar- it s a great meal and the friendships are wonderful. If you weren t there, you missed a good time. So plan on coming next year. Safe riding The Taylor s 4
