Return of CSIO BARCELONA The world s foremost international show-jumping competition From October 5th to October 7th 2018, Barcelona will once again assume the title of world capital of equestrian sport as the city stages the 107th edition of CSIO BARCELONA. For the 6th consecutive year, the Royal Polo Club of Barcelona will host the LONGINES FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final, the standout competition of the international equestrian sports calendar.
SPORTING PROGRAMME FOR CSIO BARCELONA 2018 This international show-jumping event is held over 3 days and comprises 6 different competitions, the highlights of which are: LONGINES FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final The 18 competing countries take part in an initial qualifying round. The top 8 teams then qualify for the Grand Final, while the remaining 10 countries vie for the Challenge Cup. Queen s Cup-Segura Viudas Trophy Is the most prestigious competitions for individual riders at CSIO Barcelona. Two of these competitions take place in the evening and coincide with the gala dinners held on Friday, October 5th and Saturday, October 6th.

Shows The perfect complement to top-level competition Equestrian shows are an important and characteristic feature of the events programme at CSIO Barcelona. Santi Serra, Córdoba Ecuestre, Compagnie impulsion, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, and other artists from the equestrian world, have all staged their shows at the Olympic arena. These horse displays are brought to audiences thanksto the support of Estrella Damm. They are repeated throughout the four days of the event, entertaining visitors in the breaks between the different competitions and providing the grand finale to the gala dinners.
