Question 5 Currently the club does not pay for lane hire at Armadale aquatic centre. When the club swims elsewhere, such as Cannington, the club must pay a lane hire fee. During our 18 to 24 month absence from Armadale aquatic centre, the club will need to meet the financial cost of lane hire, this will severely deplete the club's funds. If required would you be willing to...? 68% of members are happy to pay a $50 Levy. 32% of members would make a regular commitment to a Bunning Sausage Sizzles COMMENTS Respondents were asked to leave a comment (optional) Donate a prize to sat raffles and support them. What happens when members dont help at the sausage sizzle do thay pay the $50. On top of the $50 levy then maybe an additional $1 per swimmer per session to keep money coming in. Also has the club looked at applying for a grant from the City of Armadale as, through no fault of the AMSC, have had to look elsewhere for swimming sessions at an additional cost to the club. Surely the City of Armadale would look at supporting the club through this difficult time. Don't think we'd need to do 2-3 each if every member was required to attend! Happy to do both how about attend a garage boot sale. Question 6 How concerned are you about where the club will be training over the next 18 to 24 months? Twenty five respondents are 57/100 concerned about where they will be training.
Question 7 Do you have any suggestions for the club in relation to the Armadale aquatic centre closure? COMMENTS Respondents were asked to leave a comment (optional) Keep as committed as they have been Just outdoor swimming in summer and easier the better. But will do whatever the majority wants but very happy to pay lane hire With regards to pool choice (question 1) I am happy with whatever we decide to go with - whatever is the most viable financially and time wise for the club. It's possible that we may lose members with the Armadale Pool closure and would suggest a membership drive and also, depending on what the pool arrangements are going to be - suggest more social interaction with members. Difficult to answer without having background information about the situation with the pool arrangements. Also, I found the questionnaire difficult for the same reason no Happy to go with the flow and will attend when l can. None For those having already having Fettes withdrawal symptoms, don t fret!
